So I joined when people had blue flames, which they had gained from a treasure hunt, and I thought as the forums had been reset, why not do another one, with another reward?
It could be a small logo like the Mods have stars, or another colour flame, or the choice of a coloured name.

I think it should be an annual thing, not every 6 months. It turned everything kinda to chaos.

When was the last one? I joined in May, that was 6 months ago, and it was before May. So yeah, annually would be cool I guess.

I don't think anyone will be doing a treasure hunt for a while, they have the translation thing to worry about right now. I'd be happy to organise it, but i doubt the admins would give me permission to edit peoples posts.
Actually, right now, it's going to be pretty impossible to do it, theres not as many places to hide anything, due to the reset. Mr. Crow (Mechanical Karasu) would have the whole place searched in a few minutes, considering how well he did in the last one.

No idea, I joined long after it happened, but as far as I think, one of the mods or admins went back and edited some random posts, and you had to find em somehow and so yeh.

There was Team Spame and Team GF, and whichever team found the most pictures, won the flames.

Yeah, the admins made 100 (I think?) pictures of random things, and edited them into posts all over Explosm. You had to find the pictures, and then copy-paste them in the main thread before anybody else did. There were two teams: Spame, and GF.
Spame had all the regulars, and we had all the noobs. :mad:

I really don't care if we have a new hunt or not. It would seem like alot of work for Robguy, and I think he's tired with the Translation Applications.

Only for whoever plants the pictures. The only thing we need to do pre-hunt is do a poll for which team you're on.

It was around the time I joined Spame. Prolly, Decemberish. I only know this because maybe a week into me posting there, everyone was like "OMG LUK AT ME"

Yeah, that was established.
They should do a new scavenger hunt next summer, not during the winter. I doubt the admins and super-mods want to sit down any time soon and plan this whole thing again.
Plus this time us spammers will have Dacada, since she's no longer a super-mod.

On a serious note, I think people should submit their own websites to let Rob and Co. post images in there and link from explosm to those websites in subtle links such as (http://www.explosm.net) that.
Doing that would make sure people can't screw it up for everyone.
