It was a shitty thread and everyone obviously thought it would get dumped like the shit it is. :/

Not to mention all the infracs say "Thank BMP" if they have to thank BMP shouldn't he just get in trouble. The way it's worded makes it sound like you knew they thought the thread was going to get dumped but instead of dumping it, you just infracted everyone in it.

Not to mention quadros didn't get infracted and he said worse things than SB or Bene.

It says thanks BMP because Sugabe wandered into spam and saw my fake ranting about how everybody else who made a shitty post in that thread didn't get infracted but I did.

No one said anything retarded in Dave's dead cat thread several months back not only because they were afraid they'd get in trouble if they did(because he is an admin), but I'm pretty sure he told people that they were going to get perma-banned if they said anything bad.

As for people getting infracted, I would think that is a somewhat debatable judgement, because on one hand that thread had potential, very little, but it could have gone in a "share your dead pet" experience thread, but it also could have just gone into, and what most people knew it was going in to, a "feel bad for me" thread, which gets pretty much no discussion whatsoever. And being on this forum, everybody just sees a shitty thread and knows its shitty, and shits it up.

Believe it or not, I posted my post thinking I wouldn't get an infraction, but I was weary, but I eventually saw other people's posts and just assumed that thread was dead from the start. Plus, (now I'm just complaining) my post wasn't entirely bad compared to some others, and if quadros didn't get infracted I don't think anyone should have.

I understand that they infracted people because they are trying to clean up the GF, but I have to admit it is unfair that a few people did not get infracted. Either they should infract everyone who made a bad post or not infract anyone.

GF is a terrible forum. People have been complaining about it a lot. We try to fix it and people get all butt hurt. It's lose-lose.

Shitting on a shit thread is infratable. GF is a messed up place and it doesn't help that people purposely shit up threads. In the future saying things like "In before dump" or posting spame in a shit thread like there is no tomorrow will get you an infraction. If you are going to shit in a thread it better be damn funny.

Going by the rule, if it is anywhere close to mildly amusing leave it be, I left some posts alone. I don't want to give infractions for a kind of sort of fail at being funny. There is a very fine line between what gets an infraction and what doesn't. If you want to gamble sometimes you lose.

Hmm, did my comment on the General Thread have anything to do with you being hard on idiots? It's good to see :) I'm gonna find this post by Quadros, and see why it wasn't infracted. Maybe just got missed, or maybe it was good, but the best idea is to stick to what you said above, because then people realise you're serious.

Found his post, yes it was a thread shitter, but as I also see, sugabe has infracted him for it. It seems she just missed it. Matter resolved.

It sucks that there is no way to reward people for funny posts.

I changed most of the infractions to warnings. Next time please keep spame in spame. If I missed you please PM me. Don't bitch about it in this thread. Ban_me_please's and Hulabaloo's infractions stay.
