In fanart, most people moan about their comics not being commented on, and get infracted for it.
What if there was a way to insert a post between two? Like so:
(COMIC) Post#1
----------
(COMIC) Post#2
(COMIC)Post#1
<new post>Post#2
(COMIC)Post#3
Get it?
It would be good for all around the forums, too.
That would make shit really confusing as you would have people commenting on stuff that had came after the newly inserted post in the inserted post.

There's no way Kwanza or anyone will be fucked programming in one thing specifically for that failure of a thread.
Plus, I don't get it. :ahe:

I don't get it and I don't want to get it because it looks lame

Who cares? People who don't get commented obviously didn't make a good enough comic.

This.
There's a reason a lot of comics don't get replies. They're not worth anyone's time.

I see no reason for it. If someone complains about their comic not getting a comment, they get an infraction which teaches them that they should not complain and thus they will make a better comic so that people will comment on it next time (in theory at least). Inserting posts would just get way too confusing.

Hell no, it would end up like this:
Poster 1: sets himself up for a bad pun
Poster 2: bad pun
Poster 3: same bad pun, edit: damn you poster 2!
This becomes:
Poster 1: sets himself up for a bad pun
Poster 3: bad pun, up yours poster 2!
Poster 2: bad pun, edit: hey wait a minute!
And so on and so forth.
Though it might be interesting in spame.
If you want to comment on something that happened way back in the thread but also on whatever's currently going on, use multi quote.
It would lead to no further thread discussion. End of story.
You'd get people commenting on peoples comments about a comment and no one would comment on new comments.

You could always just send them private messages with feedback. :indiff:

Unless you memorised every post in that thread you wouldn't know which posts were old, and which ones were new. Beefynick explained the situation well enough, although occasionally a good comic in a wave of shit get's overlooked. It sucks but there's not really much you can do about it.

The whole point of that thread is to allow people to see good comics without having to sort through all the crap, and to reward people who don't suck.

This would not be allowed for 2 reasons. 1) See above and 2) It would probably involve a code edit, which matt doesn't allow anyway.

I think Relaps was working on that.
(P.S. I've said this before, we haven't seen Matt in ages. Why should anyone listen to him?!)
