For you to block people from threads you have created.

Think about it, you are going to read theads that you have made before you read anyone elses, and the mods have loads of threads to read.

If i was to block a threadshitter from posting in my thread, it would cut down on threadshitting and off topic posts. A person who made the thread is the only one who really knows whats offtopic, and what isn't.

That is a bad idea, what if someone who you think is going to shit up your thread actually has a good idea and adds to the conversation? You would miss out on their opinion.

Still, it's overkill. BA's right, this is why moderators are here. Wouldn't you get a bit of satisfaction seeing someone get an infraction for shitting on your quality thread?

I can only see it having any real use in Spame, and even then people will just make "Post here if your name is ________" circlejerk threads.
