The PSP games

I got the PSP the day it was released in Japan, and I swear they havn't made a SINGLE Awesome game yet. Maybe they made a couple so-so ones but... I've rented most of the good titles, including:

Both Monster Hunter Portables, (probably my N.1 Played game for the PSP system, probably the one and only game that i rate GREAT)

The Tales series (Eternia was okay, but it was a remake from the past)

Street Fighter (Good game, but I get bored too quickly, and I have a fear of mashing/jamming in my Square button...)

Final Fantasy I and II (already played them...way back, don't feel like it again)

Stupid Racing Games

Grand Theft Auto (which when i want to play, I just get on my Ps2)

Final Fantasy Tactics (which was decent, and again I already played the one for ps, and I HATE the fact the normal encounter monsters LEVEL UP WITH YOU. If you ask me, its the stupidest thing in the world.)

AND LAST BUT NOT LEAST...

CRISIS CORE!!

Crisis Core is the stupidest game ever. I mean, FF7 was awesome so everyone expected alot from it, but its horrible. 10 hours of game play???
All you ever do in that game is missions anyway.



So what I wanted to ask is are there any Great (not so-so) game?
I don't really want First Person Shooters, or shooters at all. I want a good RPG, just one!! Please, I really need an RPG!!

You can't go wrong with Syphon Filter. Buuuut as for RPG's...buy a DS and play Pokemon.

That's what you get for expecting awesome games on a portable. If you want tippity top cream of the crop, you should've thought to buy a PC or a bigass console.

I just think you bought the wrong portable. Get yourself a DS and buy pokemon like THS said. Its totally worth it.

It's your own fault buying a shitty PSP. You should've gotten for the DS, which has some pretty cool games. Sell your PSP and buy that

Tekken V is a pretty good PSP game. There are also few good racing games.

The Burnout games are mindless fun. Tekken: Dark Resurrection is definitely worth picking up. Metal Slug: Anthology is nostalgic and addictive. Beyond that - should've gotten a DS.

The PSP can do more than just play games although games are the only reason why anyone should buy a portable like this.

Anyway if you use the psp right then you can play a ton of movies/tv shows off of it. I admit the games a kind of gay but still, I'm able to play MGS1, parrapa the rappa, and a ton of other PS1 games(For free...).

Some of you might say you risk bricking your psp but that is only if you are uber retarded.

There's actually quite a few PSP gems, but they're just not as known as the good DS games. Some that come to mind are Daxter and the Metal Gear Solid games(the card games)

You're able to get MGS1 on the PSP. Suh-weet.
But as for you bosskid, there are plenty of good games just not good RPG's. Except Metal Gear Solid.

True, it does have a lot of other qualities other then gaming. I'm a music person myself and I have hundreds of songs on my psp.

I had no clue you could play parrapa the rappa on psp. Damn that brings back memories. Old school ps1.

Puzzle Quest is probably one of the greatest games ever made. It is only about 50MB too so if you hacked your psp like you should of, then you can still put 2 more games on you 2GB memory stick

So good games, but no rpg's? Pooey, I'm the role play guy, just love spending my time leveling up. As for you who say the DS, my friend is selling me one for 25 dollars. It is a black DS light.

I like the PSP. I have Grand Theft Auto : Vice City Stories, Midnight Club DUB Edition, and Pro Evo 6. They're all really good and I play them pretty much everyday, depending on which game im fixed to. I really should buy more games.

I recently got the God of War demo for the PSP in the mail and I have to say I'm impressed with it. If it's any game you want for the PSP it's that one.

Metal Gear Portable Ops is a good choice as well.

Plus I hacked my PSP so I can do a lot more than play games and shit.

God of War: Chains of Olympus is going to be great, too. I haven't played Tekken: Dark Resurrection, but I hear good things.
