View Full Version : I think I have this forum figured out...
Except when I view my own profile and my own posts, it shows as 'ignore'. Not sure that I follow all this little features this forum has, but does the 'ignore' serve any relevance to my posts, or is it just there until I've been here long enough?

It's usually best to look around to figure stuff out, as most people here would probably say, but I'm a nice guy sometimes.
When you make a post look near the bottom before the "post" button and you'll see a bunch of tags you can use in your post. The default is ignore. When you're making a thread, you can't use the default one and have to change it (as you'll see every thread in the main forum page has one of the tags next to it). The post tags don't show up while reading a thread, I believe, but will show up while searching for a post.

Yeah. The ignore tag is default for posts. It really has nothing to do with your actual post.
Little off topic, but:

Another piece of advice since you're new to this forum: Fix that double post quickly. Edit, don't post again. You might receive some infraction points if you don't fix it.
V I thought that too, Matterialize. I had to read it a few times.

For a second there, I thought he meant he was on his own ignore list. :ahe:
Got it. NO repost. I am not on my own ignore list and editing is always good.
I learn so much yet know so little.
