So as many of you have probably noticed, Crysis leaked to torrents by last Sunday. Thats like a week before the original release. It comes from razor1911.
What are your opinions on this. Probably the best looking game ever made, and its leaked?
Have you got it already ;) ? Discuss.

If someone has a PC that can actually play Crysis then they obviously have enough money to buy it. I don't think this will hurt their sales.

Not much probably. Alot of the people in the comments at the torrent site say that they'll try it and then buy it when it comes out. I'll be obtaining it from a friend in a few days, I'm too poor to buy it and I have no idea when its coming out here.

It wasn't leaked, it came out in Australia the day the torrent was released. We got it before the rest of the world. 14,000 leechers is insane, it woud be quicker to walk to the shops and get it.

Well its not really out in the rest of the world. Also getting it tomorrow and I'm really exited.
I'm afraid the computer won't be able to handle it, the motherboard with it's components is just too outdated.
Im getting a killer new pc in 2 weeks.. getting half the parts tomorrow. I will be able to play this on Full graphics without any lag. Jealous?

Jealous :frown: .I can only play it with 800*600 and all on low I think :frown: .
What the fuck? Seriously? What are your specs?
I can wait to play this game.

They're shitty to be honest.
AMD athlon 64 X2 Dual core 3800+ ( thats like 2.01Ghz)
Gig of ram
Nvidia 7300GT video card.
Thats the main stuff really. But electronics cost a fortune here compared to they pay people get so yea. Atleast I can fucking play it.

Aha, dude, mine are:
AMD Athlon 64 Single-core 3500+ (2.2 Ghz)
2 Gig of ram
Nvidia 6800 card
I could run the SP demo on medium graphics, with 1280x1024 resolution - and decent framerate. And the demo was before they optimized the graphics, so the full release should run even smoother. Dunno why yours is acting up like that.

Maybe because of the lack of the ram? The specs look kinda the same tho. This is somekind of trick against me  .

Might be. RAM is pretty cheap, though - an extra 1GB stick only cost me $50. I'm sure you can afford it.

Yea well it costs alot more here and it's my dads computer so I'll have to live with it.
I tried to play it again. Switched to 1024*768 and all medium. It was hell of a lot slower but actually playable this time :indiff: .
Edit- Just looked up the price of DDRAM here. The cheapest I could find was about $60 then there was one about $80 and all the other ones were over $100. Also I get like $50 in month so yeah. Not gonna happen.

I've really enjoyed Crysis so far. I started playing with Delta from the start, and it's pretty challenging. I've died a bunch of times already, but I think it'd be incredibly easy(and boring) with the other difficulties. I'm loving the sniper rifle and the best power is cloaking for me. Strength mode comes in handy from time to time, for throwing enemies, but speed mode and armor mode are almost never good. You can't really run away from enemies when being shot at, as you'll die ever so quickly and armor mode protects you from like 5 bullets at best.
They're shitty to be honest.

I find that hard to believe.
My specs are:
AMD Athlon 64 3500+ Single core
2GB Ram
Nvidia 7900GT 256MB
I can play the game with most stuff medium, with shaders High, Postprocessing High and Sound Quality Low(I had some sound sync bugs. Like Nomad would say "affirmative" before the order was given and stuff like that). It runs good , outdoor areas are really smooth, as of yet, it noticeably lagged only at night, when battling with the hordes of asians :C. Also, when I turn Texture Quality to High, I get some freaky bugs. Like rocks disappearing/appearing in front of my eyes. I play on 800x600. I could turn it to 1024x768, but I'd have to tone down the shaders and shit. And I agree with technology being expensive here, but if you buy other people's used stuff, you can get it for an okay price. Try www.hinnavaatlus.ee -s Forums for example.

I remember stating mine on another thread but here it goes again.
I can put it on high/medium graphics at 1024X768 res.
I have a a Q6600 2.4 Ghz Proc. with the 8800 GTS 320 mb video card and 2 gigs of ram. I love it, I don't get a lot of lag at all and it's just so much fun. It does take a lot of patience.

Everyone who dl'ed this suck, the game is absolutely awesome and should be bought! :beat:
I run most things on high with 8*AA in 1680*1050
Q6600 (2.4 GHz)
8800 GTX, 768 MB RAM
4 GB RAM
Even though I'm not in a position to complain, I'm still having my GTX replaced with two GT cards, ultimately I'll only have to pay ~150 bucks for an upgrade that almost doubles my graphics power ^^

Well I beat the game and I had some crashing issues with some Beta drivers I got off Nvidia. I have to say it was an amazing game, get it if your computer can withstand it.
