These are just so damn cool.

So far there's only 4 D.I.Y. projects, but most of them have only been added a week ago, so I expect there to be alot more.
Has anyone tried these yet? When I get home tonight, I'm going to try the high def. speaker. These seem really simple to do, and require little money.
DISCUSS?!
edit - actually, looking at some of the youtube comments, alot of people say these things don't work. Think this guy's full of shit? Do these even make sense?

I really don't get it. How on earth would putting a penny in katsup and waving a magic wand make a high-def speaker. Also, what separates a high-def speaker from a normal speaker? One last question, why haven't you been banned for your avatar yet? Thats gross dude.

I found this earlier today, and tried the high-def speaker, it's a lie. It didnt work at all. I tried like 3 different jacks, sparkling peny's etc... nothing.

It all seems fake. I am no electrical expert but I do not think that the TV could be powered with the AAA battery using only the audio cables. The high def speaker just does not make sense, there is no way that would work.
The onion as the ipod charger seems feasible from an electrochemistry stand point, but I do not know if the USB will pick up the charge by just plugging it into an onion.

How old are you?
The site in question seems less than questionable in my opinion, I'm quite sceptical at the moment.

I'm actually surprised how many people don't catch the joke and believe what he's saying...

Pity, that would be a cool way to be cheap. :)
