And, I counted 8 "Epic"s (I think) in the first page. That really swayed my vote in the direction of I_Smell. I realise that most of the people saying "epic" were those voting for Matterialize, thus making me not want to be like them (no offence). But that wasn't the only reason I voted for I_Smell.. Remember that.

Not to say Matt's wasn't fantastic, because there's obviously a reason he made it to the finals, I just think Matt's is still fresh in everyone's minds and it's throwing the vote in his favor. Ya, agreed. The whole tournament I was pretty much just drawing the panels as I thought of them, then this round came up and I saw there was actually a chance I could lose. So I thought: Right, my audience is a couple hundred forumites who find my comics far funnier than I do.
Especially with that second one. I did a load of christmas shopping on the first day and was far too cold to give a shit about anything. The next day I got Super Mario Galaxy, which I'm still playing. Then the third day was a Sunday, so I slept in til about 3 O'Clock and submitted my thing passed the deadline.

I'll allways be pissed that I beasted the competition in the other rounds and got nothing out of it.
