Spriting Contest [Under New Management]

Since Savaril left the other thread to die, I'll take over. Of course, I sacrifice not being able to join, but I will post sprites just to participate, but will not put myself against anyone or compete.

I think it's best we have 8 people sign up, so first come first serve.

It's 9:00 p.m. here, so I'll wait until noon tomorrow (my time I guess, figure out your time difference) to close it, unless 8 people join before I log out tonight.

Waiting Limit:

Exactly 24 hours after I post what should be made is the deadline.
Sooner if everyone posts it before it's up.

Editing Sprites:

If you wish to edit your sprite, post that you're editing it so I don't assume you just haven't posted it.

Disqualification:

There's no way you can really get disqualified unless you do something drastic, to be honest.

Competitors:

You'll be picked at random, just like the last one. Only I'll literally pick names from a hat, that way it's not fixed (I_smell).

Oh, and one last thing. I've decided to allow 16 members only if by noon tomorrow 16 people join. The first 8 to join will have their spots locked in, so no matter what you'll still participate.


Hopefully everyone will join who wanted to before, and we can carry this on better than the last.

Alright we have our eight, what you need to do will be posted at noon (one hour from now, I don't know your time zones).

Just like the other thread, we'll start off easy and work our way up. I'm drawing names as we speak out of a hat to determine who's against who.

The first objective in this challenge is to create your very own missile and its explosion. Be creative, I know you're thinking it seems rather dull, but you always start off small and work up in a competition. The missile should be no bigger than 100 x 50, and the explosion no bigger than 75 x 75.

I shall enjoy watching this! BEGIN! You have exactly 24 hours, which is the maximum time. If all 8 are in before, I'll go ahead and make a decision.

I went for a missile launcher with missile to add a bit of detail rather than just a stick with some flames out the back.And of course, they have to hit something or it's a waste of a missile.

UberMegatron - The explosion, as you stated, was poorly done, I have a feeling you were a tad bit rushed in making it. Take your time, because the missile was nice I found.

I Ate Your Pet - I thought the way you made the missile launch from a missile launcher, and hit a plane was good. No one else did it, but I found that when it came down to the design of the missile it didn't beat Hats of!'s creativeness, along with the explosion.

Ursername180 - I liked yours. Always like everything you make. Although I would've prefered you did something more creative, rather than take the whale icon. Because, in the end, your missile was a blue tube. It literally killed to choose you to leave, but I was, like I stated, looking for creativeness, which is the only reason MK beat you out.

InTransit - For someone who kept saying your sprite was gonna suck, I was surprised it didn't. I liked it to be honest, but the fact you were up against the pringle mushroom bomb, it was hard to compete with it.


I hope none of you are mad at me, cause I have nothing wrong with anyone who joined, so these decisions weren't made on 'he's my friend, she's stupid, blah blah blah' basis.

OK! So, next objective.

I would like everyone to design a house with a garage. I'm looking for something that will blow me away, the bars being set up high with the type of creativeness you all have showed already.
The overall size, since it's a house and a garage, should come out to be W 200 x H 120.

Well, for one thing Cheesy, I wouldn't accept it for the fact you have a person in it to be completely honest. The dinosaur is ok because it's background, and the fact the cave isn't very creatively done and has no garage that is VISIBLE, you fail basically.

Ok so since MK got an easy win, I think it's only fair though that we keep the last three and have them all fight for the gold. I apologise to Hats Of! and Pooeater, but I personally think it's beter this way. :)

Create a transformer of your own, and show what it transforms from. It doesn't have to be any type of automobile, it can be anything. It can be an automobile if you want though, of course. The Transformer should be no bigger than 120 x 120, and the object it transforms from shouldn't be any bigger than 120 x 120 as well.

The twist is, they must have this colour http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d18/steveisonfire/sample2.jpg on both the transformer and what it transforms from.

Remember, it doesn't have to be an automobile, BE CREATIVE.

Guess I didn't properly obey the rules seen as a stationary set isn't really an object, more lots of objects.

Pooeater - I liked yours, it was unique, but I found it much too busy if you get what I mean.

Hats of! - I really liked yours, I just found that the fembot could've been a tiny bit bigger so I could see all the possible detail put into it.
