I am a juggler and I want to get better. I currently juggle balls and pins, and ride the unicycle.

Here's some pictures of my current equipment, and I need some tips on unicycling if anybody can give them.

Wave your hands in the air to maintain balance and kick your feet real hard.

I am a juggle enthusiast, and I want to take the next step in juggling so I can be better then right now. I currently juggle balls and pins, and ride the unicycle.

Man, you couldn't possibly have chosen a worse forum to post this in.

Why? this is a general forum for general topics, he couldn't have picked a better place to post this in.

Hey douchecock, don't get sarcastic with me. I'm saying that people aren't going to be open to something like Juggling on Explosm. By your join date I realise you probably don't know the forum that well, so I can understand why you he could post here. But I really don't think people are going to be very open and accepting of it here.

Well, as my member status would imply, I am not a partial newb, nor majority newb, but a complete newb. And why wouldn't they be accepting of juggling? If they don't like it they don't have to read it they can ignore it.

Wow, that phrase totally made sense.. But I really don't think people are going to be very open and accepting of it here.
:ahe: It's a general forum. Why not post it here? Juggling is just like any other topic, you post it, and then talk about it.

Also, I'll be as sarcastic as I see fit, cockhead.

Juggling just seems like something that a lot of people will come along and flame you about.

Why's that? I personally think juggling is awesome. Especially when you get good enough to juggle three machetes on a unicycle while talking about the finer points of life while you take a sip of coffee in between throws.

snap1o5
08-23-2007, 2:35 AM
Well that's too bad then. If I ask a group of people a question on how to get better at a skill and they make fun of me for it then I don't like the direction the world is going then. :indiff:

At the first glance I thought this thread was called juggle-testicals. Actually that would still work.

Oh hell, I love juggling myself. However I can't do it.

I just think others may not.

Yeah, it's kinda tricky, you gotta throw the balls just right, and you're timing has to be right on.

You're a failure as a clown :(

Juggling seems cool, although I'd have no idea how to do it.

Snap, could you give any hints for any explosmers that feel like juggling lemons around the kitchen?

I try :wail:

I just can't juggle. Also, I am no clown. I'd be in spame if I was.

Start with two in one hand, and throw one of the objects into the air, then as you are about to catch the 1st object with the same hand, throw the second object into the air just before catching the first one. Note: This all is just one hand. When you eventually get the hang of the 1 handed juggling, using three objects is essentially the same, you are just throwing the objects to the other hands.

Haha, juggle enthusiast.
I don't have any tips for better juggling, but it is a kickass skill to have.
Keep up the good work.

Yeah, I have my fun with it. I plan to buy torches soon, then I will be clinically proven, based off of 2 major college studies, to be awesome because juggling fire is cool.

I've got these uh, juggle ring things. They're just plastic rings you juggle with. Any tips with those?

snap1o5
08-23-2007, 3:34 AM
Hmm, I'm not as experienced with those, but try this: Start with 2 rings, and practice with one ring in each hand and throwing the rings from hand to hand. When you think you have the general idea down, try adding the 3rd ring. It's not exactly sage advice, but it should suffice to help at least a little.

Well, I'll go try when I don't risk waking anybody up.

I don't think many people on here are going to know much about juggling & riding a unicycle, so I don't think we can give you any tips, but that's pretty cool. How did you get interested in it?

snap1o5
08-23-2007, 10:24 AM
Well, there was no harm in trying, so it's all good. And maybe theres a juggler who just hasn't read this yet or something, I don't know. But anyways a couple years ago I just thought about juggling and I was just like "I wanna do that". So I just practiced and practiced and now I'm where I'm at.

I am a juggle enthusiast, and I want to take the next step in juggling...

You must be so boring in real life.

"Y'see, it's not just about throwin' balls, it's all about form. You really have to MEAN it, see? Ya can't just go in there, wavin' your arms about. Now, there are all kinds of different juggling balls. You got your beginner balls, your basic balls, red balls, blue balls, green balls, it really depends on your personal juggling angle what balls you choose. Some people don't even use balls! You got your bowling pins, chain saws..."

I can juggle like three oranges or something. Best trick I can do is, instead of throwing it inward towards the other hand, I throw it outwards and over towards the other hand. I'm no Thom Merrilin, but it's more than most can do.

I've never taken up juggling as a hobby, I always sucked at it. But yes, juggling fire is awesome.

snap1o5
08-23-2007, 8:47 PM
All I gotta do is find some fireproof-ish gloves, then I'll douse some tennis balls in gasoline and then light them on fire, and then I'll see if I can't take some pics of it and post them on here.

Thank you Tricky. AND WHY DOES NO-ONE LURK ANYMORE?

Because it's in style now to sign up completely blind and slam head first into the infinite hell that is Explosm, without first observing customs and rituals. It's much like a redneck storming into Mecca and taking a shit smack in the middle of the place. Several times. In post form.

I tried to be badass once and ride the unicycle at school without using the safety rope thing they have, I failed and hit my head really hard on the floor.

I can juggle, it's so awesome whenever anyone comes to my house they go, ooh juggling balls can I try? And they always fail. Then I juggle and show them up, I wish I could juggle 4 balls but it won't happen, 3 is my max.

I wish I could juggle. I was given some juggling balls and everything, but try as I might I failed everytime.

Just like when I posted in spame!
