Okay, I'll start out with some of my art from back in the autumn of 07 and up till now.

This one looks so much better on the paper. I'm gonna put it under glass and frame some time, I hope. My first piece working with coal.

A small idea that came out to be far better than expected. I personally love it, and hope I can make more in this surreal style.

Probably one of the best pieces I've made with a pencil.

One of my first few pieces in Photoshop.

A guy asked if he could make a t-shirt design with this one. I thanked no and copyrighted it in a hurry because he wouldn't pay me anything for it.

Made in Iscribble, and really like the style I made her in... Though her head got awfully big.

Another Iscribble I really like though people say the woman is more detailed than the man. They might be right.

Regular status at Iscribble gives you permission to use certain special tools. It got in the hall of fame that week.

(colored)

I made this right before going back to school. I colored the sky an the overflow from hair to cloth and from cloth to sky after taking a power nap. (Hence the low quality of that work, sorry.)

New!

I decided to explore photoshop with a lill' concept I couldn't be arsed to kick around further.

Please make a comment. If you want to see more of my works, this (http://silverpaperplate.deviantart.com/) is your place.

All of your pieces are really well done. You've got great figure positions and some really cool concepts in your drawings. I'd have more to say, but I suck at giving advice. Bottom line: You've got some pretty damn nifty stuff.

Oh man, the sunset one was awesome. If only I could see the NSFW, I would say 100% success rate.

One Q: What's your favourite pencil thickness? HB, 2B, 3B, etc...

Or do you just pick a random pencil and just draw?

I particularly like the way you draw hair. Your anatomy need a liiiiiiittle work, but it's certainly getting there. Things like hands, I've noticed, you need a little bit of practice on.

Personal little pet peeve, but watch what you call surreal. Surrealism has to do with non-sequitur, dream sequences, unnatural or unusual juxtapositon and the element of surprise. It doesn't have much to do with the personal style of the artist, as the wide range of styles that are categorized under surreal are vastly different (Compare Salvador Dali and Joan Miro, for example). That said, I do like that particular figure. The face kind of reminds me of Modigliani's work.

Very nice on the whole. The hair on a few pieces is way too voluminous, and at points gravity defying- but I'm not sure if this was your intention. Most of your works are realistic so I'm assuming you'd want the hair to be as well. That said, your actual rendering of hair is freaking superb.

In Somebody, whilst the head is slightly larger than what it should be, I think the main problem is how it sits on the neck. It looks terribly awkward.

Thanks a lot! I've been searching for comments like these for long.
Veeduck, I have studied surrealism and know a bit of it. But yeah, I'm taking my ideas, my dreams and my humor with me whenever I place a line on the paper when we speak of surrealism.

I mainly draw with H2, HB and 2B. They got the required thickness and softness to fit my techniques well. I'm going to make a few great pieces soon, to turn in for The Danish Champion Ship For Young Artists. I hope I can get into the contest!

I'm sure you'll make it into that contest, cause from what I've seen you have some great potential and talent. Most of your pieces show very good knowledge of drawing skill and just plain skill. You know how to draw, that's easily recognizable and the fact that you are so diverse and use so many different styles/methods gives you a great advantage.

I very much like the coloured in version of the Dark kills light, light Vs. Dark, Sun Vs. Moon, it's a great concept and you pulled it off very well I find.
Keep up the good work.

That's pretty kickass right there. I really like how you don't have a particular style; you have a variety of styles that all look very professional. You have a lot of interesting concepts that look rather jolly fine. :mmyes:

I like. You have a nice flow to your style and the images were well drawn. I was a big fan of that one with the girl who was like, stepping forward, kinda surreal.

Well, after having found out what that Iscribble thing is, I must say that you are very good at using it! I haven't really tried it out much(yet) but it's not that easy. Those drawings you made with it have more talent then I had first appreciated.

Very nice work.

Thanks for all the comments. I've put something new up in the first post. Check it out!
