Kwanza and I have been working on a few projects for a while now, some of which were just launched tonight. The most obvious is the new layout with universal profiles. Pretty sexeh, eh? This is going to be part of a bigger set of projects we have brewing behind the scenes. We're also happy to announce the return of the Ban Kamp.

With anything technical like this, there's bound to be bugs popping up here and there. So if you see anything, we have a bug report thread (http://forums.explosm.net/showthread.php?t=19605) open for any such errors.

We've got a lot more site things coming, some of which might actually be at least remotely exciting to anyone but Kwanza and myself. Stay tuned!

The translation project is dependent on a bunch of other things. Plus, Rob is mostly in charge of it all.

The directory being on the side rather than the top will take some getting used to, but I don't mind.
I like how with each page I am wished hello in a new way.

I kinda hate how the ad banner at the top of the page is a bajillion times bigger than the Explosm header.

Universal profiles are a good idea, not too fun to make, though. I assume, I've only considered it and then been lazy and not even started on the same.

The menu doesn't stand out enough. Maybe space it so it's not at the top corner, which is easy to look past. A little expansion might help as well. Cyanide and Happiness may also be non-intuitive for people who aren't used to it, so maybe include the word 'comic' somehow. And the 'stuff' section of the menu doesn't seem to have any sub-links right now. So a little on the front end should be worked on. As for the nerd crap, though, I like it.

I beg of you, remove the interactive flash at the top. I remember other websites that went totally down the tubes, because of flash ads. When I browse around Explosm, I usually open 10 different tabs, but with interactive flash ads, it gets nasty :O

Other than that, I like the new design. Seems kinda out of place, but it's just a question of getting used to it.
