They haven't got any music yet, but they're still fully done lyrics. It's no love/party-songs, so you out there wearing a Twisted Sisters-shirt will not like these.

The first one is called Feast From the Ground and I just started to sing on those words untill the whole lyrics emerged. It's not based on Verse and Refrain.

Feast From the Ground

The humans feasts from the grounds
and the rats drink from the whine.
Automobiles drives in rounds,
driven by the great ol' fine.

In this strangest of the lands,
deaf, dumb and blind, they are sure.
The might is to spread its sands,
the sands to take away the cure.

Why o' why shall it fade away?
The thing of real and boring,
It takes in the spring from May.
It turns thou gray, just growing.

But, why should thou give in,
to the forces of the plain?
Take my hand, put on a grin,
tonight we will brake the chain.

And the second song is a bit more simpler. It has refrain + verse so you might prefer it. It's called Tell Me!.

Tell Me!

What is that thing of thunder and fire,
rain, clouds and grass?
What is that word of sunder and dire,
pain, shrouds and gas?

Stop right there! I want to know the truths!
Tell me the secrets of the past and old!
Do they have something do do with youths?
Are you willing to tell, aren’t you bold?
I want to be told!
I want to be told!
I want!
I have got the right to own them all, yes,
Do not tell me the lies, make me blessed!
It’s my very quest!
It’s my very quest!
My quest!

What is that thing of thunder and fire,
rain, clouds and grass?
What is that word of sunder and dire,
pain, shrouds and gas?

I shall feast from the apple of knowledge,
Feel it consume my unknowing old self,
I shall feast from the apple of knowlegde,
Feel it consume my unknowing olf self,
I shall!
I shall!
I shall!

Neither one of the songs is Metal. They're based for progressive rock.
Please tell me how I could, y'know, get better rhymes and such on.

I guess with some lyrics you shouldn't force yourself to rhyme. If you still want to rhyme then experiment with different rhyming patterns besides basic couplets.

And when you say "Progressive Rock" do you mean kind of like Dream Theater or something softer like Transatlantic or The Flower Kings?

Yeah, although more like Genesis, Jethro Tull, Yes, Pink Floyd or something.

They would work well with spoken word.
