I feel like this is a topic that has never really been discussed. What are some of your favorite music videos? Before you get all crazy and start posting, here are some guidelines I would like you to follow.
1. Try not to insult other people's opinions, it makes you look stupid.
2. Post links! We want to see the videos!
3. Explain what the video represents/means and why you like the video.
4. Don't double post.
Keeping that in mind, please tell us your picks.
5. Please don't post fan vids, I hope I don't have to explain why.

Sic Transit Gloria... Glory Fades- Brand New (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-ecAyTL1psE)

The concept of the video is fucking amazing, and it's a masterpiece on mute as well, which is what really makes a good video in mu opinion.

Points of Authority- Linkin Park. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-l4G5rRJK8U)

Yeah Linkin Park, well fuck you, this video kicks ass.

Little Bitch- Big D and the Kids Table (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=adglbndu-6o)

Holy mother of fuck that's a lot of pints.

Franco-Unamerican- NoFX (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1vvr2Loy5hA)

I love this video, don't really know why. I guess it's the cheerful way the portray so many of America's problems.

My Girlfriend's Dead- The Vandals (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wrULozjHqkI)

How wonderfully vindictive.

First Drink of the Day- 7 Seconds of Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RRVhevmDwlk)
Ninja-7 Seconds of Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cdzo9BxL05I&feature=related)
Submarine- 7 Seconds of Love (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xMO7QWvY6CU&feature=related)

7 Seconds of Love have the best videos I've ever seen.

I'll edit this when I think of some others.

Edit: I love this song, and the video is quite good as well I think.

Testify- Rage Against the Machine (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1JSBhI_0at0&feature=related)
One Trillion Dollars- Anti-Flag (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zp0Bju0H4Q4&feature=related)
Ready to Fall- Rise Against (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dScutbJpHoA)

I didn't really like the Zepher Song's video, it got boring quickly. OK Go's video is fucking amazing though.

One trillion Dollars is kind of like Franco-unamerican in that it finds an original way to send the message, but Ready to Fall's whole 'intercutting images and videos of what's wrong with the world with the band performing' has been done over and over and over and over and over and over and over....

The RATM videos make this distinction even more obvious.

Dang, I was gonna say "Here It Goes Again". The choreography in that is amazing. Lets see:

"Clint Eastwood" (http://youtube.com/watch?v=qpDer9wdUEw) and "Feel Good Inc." (http://youtube.com/watch?v=01C4RPEinM4&feature=related) by the Gorillaz. I have no idea why I like these so much; they just seem to fit the music so well.

"Only" by Nine Inch Nails (http://youtube.com/watch?v=V0u0AG_floQ). This one is just fun to look at, and the ideas in it are great.

"Fell In Love With a Girl" by The White Stripes (http://youtube.com/watch?v=XRDi67G0Siw). Legos just make everything better.

"Amish Paradise" by Weird Al Yankovic (http://youtube.com/watch?v=GsfVw9xxoNY). I just can't help but laugh when I watch this.

Flogging Molly -- Drunken Lullabies (http://youtube.com/watch?v=JePJNCrxpcY) because Flogging Molly is possibly the best band ever, and this is probably their best song ever. The video is just a funny story; fan of the band late to their concert, trying his damnedest to get there on time.

Imogen Heap -- Goodnight and Go (http://youtube.com/watch?v=z9athUdhH40) because she's an awesome artist, and the video is really creative.

You know there are a hundred and one 'what music do you like' threads, you don't need to tell us here. This one's about the videos, and since you couldn't find videos for two of them and for another you only posted them because you liked the songs, I'm going to go ahead and only click the Imogen Heap one.

I'll admit it's nicely put together.

The Rock Show- Blink 182 (http://youtube.com/watch?v=vxhl-xV0UOs) It's awesome, and the most brilliantly irresponsible video since Sabotage.

Even though I don't listen to them anymore, Korn's 'Freak On a Leash' (http://youtube.com/watch?v=K27d7Ut5bXo) video will always be one of my favorites. A great blend of animation and reality.

Nine Inch Nails - 'Closer' (http://youtube.com/watch?v=QWncI51ggH8)
It's just one of those videos that you keep watching and wondering what the hell you're watching. It's quite fascinating.

Ramones - Psychotherapy (http://youtube.com/watch?v=QVi1tRSuX2U)
I love the Ramones, and this video always cracks me up. It's pretty self-explanatory.

Muse- Knights of Cydonia (http://youtube.com/watch?v=jV1bRfLHA3A) - A good song made into a great video. Under the umbrella of pop-culture references, they had a very good story.

Bob Dylan- Masters of War (http://youtube.com/watch?v=iWkWSLEW-Ds) - Again, a powerful song further propelled by video. 'Nuff said.

Reel Big Fish- Sell Out (http://youtube.com/watch?v=I0e6LUTjzX0)- Great song, fantastic video (noticing a trend?). I thought them talking in Japanese in the beginning was a nice touch too.

Wow, I can't believe no body has mentioned it. Two words: Can't Stop (http://youtube.com/watch?v=f7iiF8U6y_U).

And of course Seasons in the Abyss (http://youtube.com/watch?v=cFa9AYKCOfw), for the fact that they didn't use a stage for this, and instead actually flew out to Egypt and filmed this.

Oh, and every single Weird Al Yankovic video

I forgot to post my picks.
Sabotage- The Beastie Boys
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4PN7Xbexq4
It's hilarious how they make it into a stereotypical movie. The WOAHHHHH part is great.
Sleep Now In the Fire- Rage Against the Machine
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Jz8wU9DdbqU
This video makes a great point, and it was directed by Michael Moore. Yes, the stock market was closed. EDIT- Even though it already got posted, It deserves to be on the list.
Spokes For the Wheels of Torment- Buckethead
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1bSZslEDUl0
I hate the song, but the video is great because it fits the song/artist and it's based off of works from Hieronymous Bosch (most of it)
Benzin- Rammstein
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3jwXQFFLSHo
This is an amazing song that goes well with the video. It is also animated, and includes every single member of the band.
Ich Will- Rammstein
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8oaMkcGEb0s
This video has a hidden meaning- it also includes every member in the band.
Amerika- Rammstein
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w9EksAo5hY&feature=related
This video shows about how America is influencing the rest of the world and the techno part with the pinball machine is a nice little touch. Once again, every member of the band is included.
Rosenrot- Rammstein
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4w9EksAo5hY&feature=related
This song seems to be mocking tradition, and has a nice medieval twist to it. Every member of the band included.
Ohne Dich- Rammstein
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pkLDEEs20U&feature=related
The acting and the emotion is great, with every member of the band in the video.

I couldn't resist posting all the Rammstein videos. They're great.
Good picks, by the way.

What a wonderful song. I can't get the links right now, I will try to when I get home, but "Bunnies" by Horse the Band, "Seeing Double at the Triple Rock" by NOFX, "Kaapiot" by kylahullut and "Trashed, Lost and Strungout" by Children of Bodom are ones I enjoy off the top of my head.

Peter, Bjorn and John - Young Folks.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=51V1VMkuyx0

Because it's simple, a great song and when they say a short 3 word sentence their mouths move 10 times longer than needed.

Sabotage- The Beastie Boys
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H4PN7Xbexq4
It's hilarious how they make it into a stereotypical movie. The WOAHHHHH part is great.

Probably my favorite video of all time. It was my first music video and has been since. I love their mustaches.

Bright Eyes - Bowl of Oranges
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XUym7n7fJTQ
Not a huge fan of Bright Eyes, but I love how this video turned out.

Smashing Pumpkins - Tonight, Tonight
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EsZYqaSc4cU
Amazing video overall. Very creative.

Come Clarity - In Flames.

I'm surprised no one has said Take On Me (http://youtube.com/watch?v=CUod3jGQt0U) by A-Ha. Do I even need to explain why it's so awesome?

I also like Jeremy (http://youtube.com/watch?v=7uc-p8fbyEM) by Pearl Jam. It's just so chilling. They did great a great job with such a great song (which is based on real events).

Triple J

White People for Peace -Against Me! http://youtube.com/watch?v=8OzkivWf78A
If I tried to explain it, it wouldn't be as awesome.

Technologic -Daft punk http://youtube.com/watch?v=UMqLFNdHLcI
I don't know I've always been a robot baby type of guy.

Sheila- Jamie T http://youtube.com/watch?v=oqUMDu8eHg4
It is a shorter version of the real song (It cuts 2 of the verses) but I still think it is a strangely attractive video.

Ashes to Ashes by David Bowie
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r44OFO-MNPo
One of the best music videos ever.

Another one I really like was Man on the Moon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bs4pTCqhTfY) by R.E.M.

The Locust - Twenty-Three Lubed-Up Schizophrenics With Delusions Of Grandeur (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=nk6SnTFSJyk) - Fraggle Rock is awesome and this video was well done for a puppet lipsync, and yes it is offical.

Coheed and Cambria - Blood Red Summer (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=bvH-70bY2C8) - Claudio set up a huge fort in the trees, just for himself. Too bad stupid-immortal wins over smart-mortal. Luckly, the stupid-immortal guys are the band.

Taking Back Sunday - Cute without the 'E' (Cut from the Team) (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=JduO4OGZKY8) - Fight Club spoof. Seeing Adam getting owned for his future albums by one of his groupies was a great idea from the director.

Matthew Good Band - Apparitions (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=5t7X1ZoYq3k) and Rico (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=0rv2OKICdys) - This two part music video shows the janitor at work and play. The shit that the janitor pulled at work was hilarious.

Scary Kids Scaring Kids - My Darkest Hour (http://ca.youtube.com/watch?v=bAD2W5g7pW8) - Nothing like rocking out in a car without any regard for others on the road, except when they have a better sound system than you.

With their deep lyrical content that intertwines quiet beautifully with all the visual aspects, Pearl Jam's "Do the Evolution" is a prime choice in my opinion as a mastery not often seen in yesterday or today's videos.

http://youtube.com/watch?v=3C9CH3q9PLI

There are also, other worthy videos that I am not up to posting at the moment since I lost all of them when trying to post a moment ago due to my unsteady connection. -_-

These videos are all equally deserving for their deep and disturbing lyrical content as well as morbid visuals that only add to its overall capativating effect. They are by the following two artists: Marilyn Manson and Tool. You can never go wrong with them. ♥

Maybe I will post them when I feel a little better.

Eddit: This video is also astounding, as are all the videos by Sigur Ros. It is called "Vaka".
