OK, my last one of these didn't go so well, but there were a lot of suggestions of sagas and trilogies that didn't get included, so I took up all the requested series and picked the best ones to put into this one. If one that you can think of isn't in there, this time I probably thought of it but I couldn't fit it in the poll with the rest of them. Please remember to state why you think your choice is the best out of them, and like I said feel free to suggest ones that aren't there, but don't bitch and moan at me because they're not.

Have fun!

Star Wars is the mother of all trilogies.

I have to agree with Hats on this, the origional Star Wars was the best trilogy ever.

Lord of the Rings. Everything about it is epic. The acting. The story itself. Peter Jackson did an absolutely phenomenal job, and so did so many other people involved. In my opinion, the best piece of filmmaking so far.

LotR is fucking amazing, but Star Wars (I was assuming 4-6 was intended here) is the classic and like said before, the mother of all trilogies, can't vote against it.

Star wars wins even if all six were meant.

(is there a better way to word that?)

Star Wars is two Trilogies, and that is an Hexology, or a saga.

It's easily Star Wars followed by Lord of the rings. They were both awesome movies and the sequels got Better not Worse like most other trilogy's and saga's.

Star Wars is the only Saga worth mentioning.

I'm not sure if any saga will ever become more popular than Star Wars, simply because of the impact Star Wars had on the entire movie industry. No other saga, anytime soon, will every impact the entire industry in such a way that Star Wars did. It established companies, techniques, and concepts that are still widely used and sought out in today's movie making industry, over 30 years after its release.

All anyone can do is to add on to or innovate what Star Wars invented, but no one will ever be as groundbreaking, at least as far as I can predict.

And all that doesn't even encompass the massive culture and massive fan base that the Star Wars saga created.

If it didn't work out well the first time, what makes you think it will work out well this time?

iGavin's not here to tell us that Pirates is a better saga than Star Wars? Though that was fucking hilarious.

Proof that iGavin was a retard even before the easter thread herein. (http://forums.explosm.net/showthread.php?t=19054&page=2&highlight=Saga)

I've never watched more than an hour of star wars. Never liked it. Don't really go for lord of the rings either. Not a sci-fi (or whatever LOTR is classed as) person.
Pirates trilogy = pure movie awesomeness

I can't decide between the Matrix and star wars. So I picked the Matrix because nobody else had.

I would have picked the matrix if the third movie hadn't sucked ass.

Pirates of the Carribean owns. No other trilogy is nearly half as good. Starwars sucked because it took so long for the other parts to come out :(.
