Ok, so I know the debate surrounding this book has somewhat died off, but regardless, have you read it?

Also, what is your opinion on the matter? Are the Goldmans right? Is the book published as a potential confession? Or is Denise Brown right, is it a slanderous attack on her sister?

My feelings are I'm glad the book got published. Oprah told the Goldmans to "let it go, and move on". I can't disagree more. The day OJ Simpson was found not guilty is the day the American justice system failed.

If the Goldmans just turned around and said, "oh well, fuck it", then a battle has been lost. I believe they were morally obligated to pursue this with all that they have.

I would buy the book, but I haven't yet decided if I'd read it.

Well, unless it specifically says "THIS IS A TRUE STORY" and then later says "I killed her", I don't think it would support itself as evidence in a court.

I haven't read the book, and quite frankly, I don't know if I care to. It seems like just a way for OJ to make money.

You got the title wrong. It's "If I Did It: Confessions of a Killer."

I would buy the book, but I haven't yet decided if I'd read it.

Also, what the fuck?

I didn't mean a confession in the sense that it would be admissible in court. Just that perhaps inadvertantly OJ admits to killing them. Which is exactly what the Goldmans claim the case to be.

The family of Ron Goldman managed to obtain the rights to the book. OJ has already been paid, the rest of the money goes to the Goldmans, who are still owed money by OJ.

You got the title wrong. It's "If I Did It: Confessions of a Killer."

Also, what the fuck?

It's actually "If I Did It: Confessions of the Killer.

But anyway, I'd buy it and not read it in support of the Goldmans. They are still owed money by OJ. And in all honesty, they were royally ass fucked by the Americal legal system. Can you imagine knowing full well that the husband of your daughter murdered her gruesomely, then got away with it on a technicality?

These people need some sort of compensation.

*snort* Well that's a lie. The American justice has failed in just about every way before and since then.

Ah, it makes sense now. I think if I were to buy it, I would read it. Curiosity wouldn't let me just have it sitting there.

Ok, then I rephrase; the day OJ Simpson was found not guilty is a day the American justice system failed.

Better? At least they're making a plight of it.
