Halo: Combat Evolved started from 0 to "In a week gave bungie 300 million dollers(total in the world)"

So got to admit it has a vast amount of coolness,
I bought mine in december(And yes I was getting tortured by not being able to buy it in september).

My points:

-Halo "1"-Ups- Good at adventure and a good story.
-Downs- Small variety of weapons and enemies,bad graphs

-Halo 2-Ups-Had better graphs, more enemies and more weapons
-Downs- Still lacks on their objective of having a good FPS.

-Halo 3-Ups-God's graphs(althought it didn't the 360 100%)
very big variety of weapons, awesome story.The best version of Halo.
-Downs-None.

Halo 3 is nothing than an average FPS. Just like the other Halo games.

Halo 1 was fucking retarded. The beginning was an exact rip-off of Half-Life. Something went wrong and they got invaded / contaminated. All I liked about it was Master Chef's armour.

Halo 2 ; no comment. Shit end. Still retarded.

Halo 3 - good graphics ? HAH ! Such a stupid thing you said there. Look at Unreal Tournament 2007, look even at Resistance ! Looks 10000 times better than Halo 3.

The majority of weapons are basic FPS weapons but with other names ; visuals. Plasma pistol or whatever it's called ? Just a pistol but instead of bullets there is plasma. Wooooow. Incredible.

Exactly the same with the multiplayer, which I don't know why people hype it so much. Just basic modes with other names.

So the Halo series is just an average FPS series with a chef in the main role.

I agree with both of you. ILuigi, I agree with you on the topic of H_H being a total moron.

However, the Halo games are pretty good. They are NOT the best though. The best, for me, goes to Half-Life 2.

That said, yeah, Halo: CE was revolutionary at the time? Usable vehicles?! WOO! (that's what me and my friends though anyway). Halo 2 did pretty much suck. SMG = shit. Ending = shit. Almost no gameplay on Earth = shit. Only good thing was the Battle Rifle. Halo 3 was pretty epic; great story and great gameplay, great graphics.

So, basically up until Halo 3, it was just a good series. Not great.

Even though H_H is retarded, it seems like people enjoy being critical against Halo 3. It was a brilliant game, seriously. It was nowhere near as creative as HL2, but as a traditional shooter, it comes across brilliant. Also, Halo 2 sucked, but not that bad. Lastly, half of the 20 million people who bought the game are faggots anyways. Even the ghetto-ish kids in my school play friggin Halo...

Did you like it? -Ya I like it. It has fun multiplayer and a much better single player mode than Halo 2, but it still doesn't compare to the classic-ness of Halo.

Its a basic FPS. I own all 3 halos and there nothing special I do really like the storyline but its not exactly the groundbreaking game its made out to be. All it is is Microsofts and Bungies way of making vast amounts of money. I much prefer COD4 as an FPS I was so much more involved in that game, felt like I actually was the main character, it's pretty hard to relate to a super cyborg fighting alien hordes and hardly getting a scratch on him.

It's pretty fun. I played unreal tournement once, it was too fucking hard.

I like easy games so halo is awesome imo.

I have to agree with the Zero Punctuation (http://www.escapistmagazine.com/articles/view/editorials/zeropunctuation/2304-Zero-Punctuation-Halo-3) Review. It's decent, but just average. The online is really good, but the game all in all is just severely overrated.

Halo: Combat Evolved I STILL play and it got me to buy an Xbox.

Halo 2, when I first got it, was a godsend. Then I got other games and Halo 3 and realized how shitty it was. Halo 2 ruined my love of multiplayer. I now love campaign of games more than multiplayer.
