Now I know right off the bat some people are going to come in and say that the NFL sucks, this is not a thread for that so kindly take your unwanted opinions elsewhere.
Now I was just wondering who everyone roots for? Why do you root for them? I'll start.
I like the Oakland Raiders, I have been born and bred a Raider fan, and I think my dad would have most likely killed my while I slept if I liked any other team. For awhile there being a Raider fan was a good thing, but nowadays it gets harder and harder to let people know who I like.

Patriots (did I spell i right?).
I've an American friend who supports them.
The Chicago Bears are my favorite since I live in Chicago and sever since I was little I've been watching them. Sure they've sucked most of the time but this is my team through thick and thin. I hope one day they get a decent quarterback and the cycle of shit quarterbacks in Chicago stops.

The New York Giants, because I live in New York. Also, my dad was always a Giants fan, and I was never big on football so I went with the flow. It wasn't until earlier this season that I started watching. I noticed that whenever the rare occasion occurred that I did watch, I got really into it. So now here I am, a full-fledged supporter of the Giants.

Jets. It's been a tough year. I also like Cleveland because of DA.

Philadelphia Eagles.
Some might say that they suck, but seriously the outcome of a team's success depends on the coach and Andy Reid needs to be shot or something.
I stay true to the Eagles because New Jersey doesn't have a Football team and if they did I'd still probably root for the Eagles like I do for the Flyers (because they're the only promising thing we have going for us). Ooookay getting off topic, Eagles =] Nuff said.

Vikings. I know everyone hates them or something.
I don't know much about football at all, but being a Minnesota dweller I guess Vikings is the easiest to pick for me.

I don't have "one team." My dad raised me on Aikman's Cowboys and Elway's Broncos. A few years before the won the Super Bowl, I noticed Peyton Manning's godly powers and haven't turned back since. I can safely say I beat the bandwagon, and I'm a Brady hater through and through. Living in Canada I don't have a local team, the closest is the Seahawks, and I support them. So in no particular order, Cowboys, Seahawks, Colts, Broncos, though I'd love to see the 'Hawks win the big one soon. I'm more a fan of the game than of a team.

The Detroit Lions are my favorite/my hometown team. It's kinda sad that I have to live with a constant under .500 team, but yeah, that's them.
There's always hope, and there will be rejoice when Millen (eventually) gets fired.
Chicago Bears.
My entire family is from Illinois, though I've lived in California for most of my life. I grew up loving the Bears. I will stick by them through anything. My brother was born during a Bears/Raiders game, and the Bears crushed them, which is just awesome.

Green Bay Packers
When I was a young teenager, I watched Bret Favre lead an improbably come back against the Atlanta Falcons, and I've been hooked ever since. Since I'm from Mississippi, I also like to see the New Orleans Saints do well.
I also like, New England Patriots, Washington Redskins, Pittsburgh Steelers.
I despise Kansas City Chiefs, Philadelphia Eagles, Dallas Cowboys, San Francisco 49ers and the Indianapolis Colts.

Definitely the Oakland Raiders - not a proud fan, just loyal - and I always will be. RAIDER NATION! :hf:

I have a question for all ye NFL fans. When ye watch a game and it goes on for 2 hours or so, do you not get board or go for a walk or something during the gamw?
Philadelphia Eagles. I live in Philly, so I have the natural aggressive instinct as an Eagles Fan, so I fit well with our team. We're makin a comeback next year, promise. :hmm:

No, you might miss something really amazing or important. You would have to be an idiot to leave. Unless it was halftime or a timeout.

Games on average are 3 hours, so no I don't get bored because all the games are longer than 2 hours. The games are great to watch even in games with crappy teams there's a reason to watch the whole thing.

To be honest, if it isn't my team playing, I can't maintain an interest. I'm a selfish bastard.

Fuck yes! I have to stick with them, even though it can be hard. Hell I bought a Russel jersey the first day it came out!

Because it isn't boring, but please try and spell things correctly when proving a point. When you spell like a retarded monkey it's hard for me to try and take what you are saying seriously.

The Giants, because they were in the first NFL game I ever went to.
There were a hell of a lot of fake Giants fans at school this week.

Somebody accused me of being a fake Giants fan at the store the other day because I was wearing my Shockey jersey, and there was almost a rumble. I told him "Yes, I'm a fake fan. Of course, you couldn't tell? I just ran out as soon as they won the super bowl and blew $250 on a jersey for a player who DIDN'T EVEN PLAY IN THE GAME."
EDIT: Oh yeah if you couldn't tell, Giants.
NY Jets!!!(even though they sucked this year) Main reason is because I lived near New York and my favorite color is green. I was little when i picked the Jets over the Giants.
