Well hey there I've got a new idea. Lets put our collective two-tone and ska punk heads together and create the greatest Ska mix tape EVAR! You know you want to and who knows, you might, just MIGHT learn something about the genre you didn't know before.
THERE ARE RULES.
1) Only 1 song per band. If this wasn't a rule we'd just end up with Keasby Nights, let's face it.
2) You have to be able to find the songs on iTunes. I don't care how awesome your mate's garage band are, if we can't get the music we can't put it on the tape can we?
3) This is a thread for the creation of a ska mix tape. If you think ska sucks, go say it somewhere else. A burning building, for example. Or shark infested waters.
So go. I'm going to make a Punk thread as well, and let the other shmucks handle Indie, Grunge, Metal etc.
I'll get the ball rolling by proposing a 10 Song List. Then you guys post your own and we come to some kind of agreement about the eventual composition.
1. Little Bitch- Big D and the Kid's Table.
2. Ska Wars- Capdown
3. Shoes- Jesse James
4. Gainsvill Rock City- Less Than Jake
5. A Pack of Dogs- Lightyear
6. Wierdbeard- Mad Caddies
7. Beer- Reel Big Fish
8. Piggy in the Middle- Sonic Boom Six
9. Jump on Demand- [Spunge]
10. So Sad To Say- Mighty Mighty Bosstones.

It's 'Skarivan' and FUCKING YES!
Also the Rudebones.
The spelling is "Skaravan" as it is a ska cover of the jazz standard "Caravan" by Duke Ellington. I also think Justin Timberlake ripped off the chord progression for his song "Sexy Back."
