Recently i've been a bit scant with my showcasing and that is for two reasons;
1.) I'm a lazy shit
2.) most of the stuff i've been producing has been rather demented, as if I simply spewed pencils onto the paper.
So i'll ease you guys in with the more delicate pieces and gradually bring in the visual bile.
Evil Dark Warrior Knight of Badness:

Leaning Lady:

Dickwad:

Untitled:

Thats the last of the bile:

I'll probably update this every season or so.

Excellentness. Dickwad is my favorite one.

The Dark Warrior Knight one kicks some serious ass.

They all look nice, but what happened to the Dark Warrior's sword?

I scrapped it, it looked terrible. For some reason I can't explain, straight lines and simple shapes are things I find impossible to draw.
Very, very good. You have skills man.

They're all really cool. Only Leaning Lady seems a bit awkward, her left shoulder is too broad and far from her body.

Nobody will think less of you if you wanna use a ruler. :shobon:
Dickwad is amazing, everything else is kinda meh.

The way your evil warrior is standing seems a little awkward. I think his right leg is the same size as his left (perspective wise) when it should seem smaller since it's at least a tiny bit further back.

Aye, the shadow on the right foot you see is actually where the old foot was, though i didn't manage to remove enough of that part.
Next time i produce a lady, i'll deffo make less broad shoulders, as the current leaning biznitch really does seem facked, in hindsight.
More Dickwads to come Rob. :wink:

Dickwad is amazing. It's name doesn't do it enough justice!
Hats of!

I'm going to break free from the rest of the idiots here in the forums by saying that the guy on "And again:" is the nicest. Love the eyes and everything that has do to with him.

It may sound weird, but I actually enjoyed Untitled more than everything else.
And yeah Dickwad is pretty fucking cool.
My favourite is the wee dude that looks like a potato in "Untitled".
They are all awesome apart from "leaning girl"'s face which looks a tad distended to me.

Did you consider not drawing it in terms of simple shapes and straight lines? instead making it a metaphor for the knight's corruption, a raw, unrefined, uncrafted fragment of darkness and corruption? That way you could pretty much draw anything of length and narrowness and detail it into a blade.

In short, do exactly the same thing that you did for Dickwad, but as a sword.

Yeah, I must have spent about 20 seconds on him, yet he's my favourite little sprogg. Thanks for the compliments and i'll be sure to follow your advice Quadros, now that Matts explained it to me.
Those are pretty damn awesome, but they're all kind of scribbles, I'd love to see something complete and refined. The only one that really looks ready is Dickwad. The Evil Dark Warrior Knight of Badness' pose looks a little awkward.

That was rather nice Azzy. How was it done?

The original was just a linear drawing onto paper. I then used the stroke function to bring out the lines I wanted and filled in the spaces with a bucket of paint.
For those who are thinking I caressed my monitor to produce this work; the "stroke" thing is where you select the lines you want (best with the polygonal lasso tool) then right-click and select stroke to leave a bold line where the marching ants were.

Pencil on your face!

I have to say the Ink piece was a complete bitch to do, whilst with the Oil everything came naturally to me.

Azunder i am amazed by your work time after time, its outstanding. I also love your style, its very unique and slightly eerie. Your ink self portrait is VERY impresive, i look forward to seeing more from you. Well done :shobon:

You have some bitchin' art in here. Really nice. The Marley face looks good, but I don't like his hand.
I'm amazed by that last picture on your previous update, it looks fucking awesome. What does it represent exactly?
azunder

Its a collation of scribblings I developed through automatic drawing. So scribbles derived from scribbles... :hmm:
I was aiming for something fairly surreal and 'sub-concious' so i'm not actually sure what it represents, lasagne?
Your Ink on Paper piece is something else.
Hats of!

Two more images for your eyes to cry acid onto;
The last study before my final piece, oil on paper, A2;
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j235/azunder/FinalStudy.png
The final piece itself, oil on 3 boards of mdf, somewhat big;
http://i81.photobucket.com/albums/j235/azunder/FinalPiece.png
I actually made these a couple of months ago and have yet to bother mounting the final piece properly, its a triptych and the boards are meant to be seperate but fudge it for now. :fmita:
