You already know most of them.

Use proper capitalization, punctuation, and grammer etc.

Books

Use the spoiler tags if what you're posting is going to give something away. Make sure you label them so people know what the spoiler is pertaining to.

Art

Label any artwork. (Name of piece, artist)
Post more about it than just basic information. Otherwise it's pretty much post boosting

ALSO: Report any spoilers that don't have tags on them. I haven't read every book in the world so someone could spoil something and I wouldn't know it.

Suggest rules here and I'll add them if I think they're suitable.

What about spelling?

Grammar for instance. :shobon:

Pretty sure that's in the global rules already.

Thanks Abbey.

Can you maybe add in that greater precision should be used with spoiler tags? IE: Labeling the book, chapter number?

I suggest that inability to properly use and label spoiler tags would result in a 3+ day ban, seeing as having a plot ruined is one of the worst things that could happen to someone over the internet.

Thanks Abbey.

Chapter warnings would be good for threads discussing individual books, but for threads dealing with series (like the Dark Tower thread), I think which book it's in would suffice.

Agreed. If I wanted to ruin a book, I would skip to the last chapter and read it first.

p.s. Is abbey mod all the Media Forums or just LFA? Just wondering.
