I like to dance to the macarena mostly but I do enjoy the actual genre "dance music". A lot of what I listen to is dance music or I can just dance to anything.

One of my favorite bands to dance to is Electric Six. I'm not really too much into electronic club dance music. But the stuff that's a little more rock I love.

MC Dinos' shit when he gets on the mic.
Prodigy.
Alot of DNB..and hell, I even get down to hip-hop and rap if it's got a beat and I've got a few in me, and the club is goin off.

It's a drastic change from my classical, ballet upbringing.

I find myself dancing to:
Daft Punk
Fisherspooner
The Medic Droid

but the one song I dance the most to is Blue (Da ba dee) by Eiffel 65.

And if drunk dancing counts, most definitely Hollywood Undead.

Another that gets me moving "Combination of the Two" by Big Brother and the Holding Company. Not a band most people think of when they think of dancing...but it's a song that just makes me wanna move. It starts out kinda slow, and bluesy with Janis Joplin singing all sweet like, and then it builds until she's nearly screaming "Yeah, we're gonna knock ya, rock ya, gonna sock to ya now." I just love it.

Yellow Magic Orchestra, they are the japanese equivalent to Kraftwerk. I've made several other dance and electronic lists in this forum, so you might check those.

Sandstorm and Out Of Control, By Darude.

If u like Darude, there is a compilation series you should check out called "Euro Club Hits."

It's pretty clear that dance music is coming back around the world. just check the recent big American hip-hop and R&B hits which are clear rip-offs of the European dance style.

Here's the direct iTunes link to the "Euro Club Hits" series.

Everytime I hear that song that Napoleon danced to at the end of Napoleon Dynamite I dance and it gets stuck in my head. It's just so damn catchy!
