For those of you in the Pacific Northwest, the lineup has just been announced for this year's Sasquatch Festival (http://sasquatchfestival.com/2008/). While last year's lineup was fairly disappointing (the Beastie Boys the only band worthy getting major hype), past lineups have been pretty damn amazing (including Nine Inch Nails, Wolfmother, Pretty Girls Make Graves, The Shins, We Are Scientists, and more). This year's is pretty damn exciting as well.

The lineup includes: R.E.M., The Cure, Modest Mouse, Cold War Kids, The Hives, The Blakes, The New Pornographers, and more.

The only problem I have with this is that it's really expensive, especially when you have to throw in camping costs.

So is anyone going? A few of you indie lovers would be pretty damn happy to see these bands.

I would really love to go to this. Like really love to go to this, but it's on the exact opposite of the country

The Flaming Lips, Modest Mouse, Cold War Kids, The Hives, The Kooks, Tegan & Sara, Flight Of The Conchords, Death Cab For Cutie

The lineup looks really, really freaking kick-ass. Why the hell do I have to live in Canada :[

I'm not gonna go to that, about the only bands I would like to see are Modest Mouse, just because I haven't seen them live yet, and maybe the Flaming Lips. The rest are people either I've neither heard of, or don't like. Perhaps R.E.M would be worth watching as well, but this just seems like something I wouldn't really enjoy.

Um We all keep forgetting the most important band here...

Flight of the Conchords!

Also my indie sense tingles for all those bands as well...

I might have to save up some money to go see that show. The line up looks AMAZING!
