My friend Tanya made a website called Music Roamer (http://www.musicroamer.com/), and I figured I'd share it here.

You can enter a band and it will give you some similar bands/artists or you can enter a genre, and it will give you some top artists in that category. You can also see the bands albums, track listings, and listen to their music.

It's brand new, so expect some updates/changes soon.

I've already found a bunch of bands that I've never heard of, so I'm totally psyched!

You should really give it a chance and actually visit the website before flipping it off.


I gave it a look-see. I needed to figure out what "image size" and "repulsion factor" were, but after I did that, the little thought-web graph thing it shows you is pretty cool. I like the intuitive interface.

I quite liked that. Also what's cool is there are UK bands mentioned, which isn't always the case with the other similar sites.

I liked it, but I think it needs more results. I knew most of the artists that popped up.

I like it but when you listen to a track you go to lastfm. Kinda pointless place to go. :ahe:
