I saw it a few days ago but I can't remember the name of it. It's an anime one, and it's about this place called Iron Town and how the residents/industrial workers of said town destroy the forest around the area and the massive forest spirit gets really, really pissed and starts wreaking havoc.

And there's a main character too but I don't remember much about him except that he rides a wolf at one point.

Can you help me name it?

I remember watching that movie a really long time ago then seeing it again on T.V. last year and skipping my first two classes to watch it.

One of the only anime movies I've ever enjoyed.

Same here, for the only anime I've ever enjoyed any way.

Princess Mononoke is awesome. I remember watching it multiple times with my friend and never getting tired of it. It's kind of the only anime movie i've ever seen, but the people tell me that any other movie by that same director is awesome.

Miyazaki is absolutely amazing. Him and Satoshi Kon are the only anime directors who put out worthwhile films.

Man, this brings me back. Around 9 years ago I watched it from friends of my mom who owned a card shop and had it. The video was kinda messed up, but I was able to see a bit of it. For years afterward, I just forgot about it. Then maybe a year ago I found a DVD that looked familiar at our rental store, and realized that it was the movie I saw so long ago. It's amazing.
I like quite a few anime movies, but this may be the only one that's ever stuck with me.

If you liked it then try watching some of Miyazaki's other films. I'd skip Kiki's Delivery Service and maybe My Neighbor Totoro. Definately see Spirited Away and Nausicaä of the Valley of the Winds. Castle in the Sky is good too.

Nausicaä is by far my favorite Ghibli film.

Hey man, what's wrong with KiKi's Delivery Service? >:0 I saw that like, 7 years ago, and remember it being good.

And Castle in the Sky is fucking awesome.

Note: Howl's Moving Castle MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE

Good movie, very very good. I also love Spirited Away... Absolutely awesome directer, that Miyazaki.

Howl's Moving Castle MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE

It made perfect sense, it was just a shit film. It was basically just Miyazaki reusing the moral from every other film he's ever made, but took out the entertaining bits and just made it preachy. I hope his next movie isn't so utterly disappointing.

I loved that movie too. But I also saw it when I was like 7 years old. I just assumed that Kevosk wouldn't care much to see a movie about a wannabe 12 year old witch. No matter how cool that bicycle flying contraption was.

I still haven't seen Howl's Moving Castle =/ I want to though. I've enjoyed all his other movies. When Turner Classic Movies had their Miyazaki month I was practically orgasming.

I'll be honest...

... I've never seen Spirited Away.

Is that a crime?

Yes.

That movie won a freaking Oscar! Plus it's classic Miyazaki. You have the odd love story and weird shit happening everywhere. It's also pretty sweet, with the spirit world and all.
