Has anyone read this at all? I started reading them a rough month ago, and this is the most intense shit ever. Yes, It's darker than any of the other Star Wars related material, but it is still wonderful.

Right now I'm on Sacrafice, the fifth book of the series, just got it today. I've also been reading them so much, I read the past two books in teh series in four days.

Anyway, the writing and how the story itself is manifesting into something greater, whether its with Jacen Solo, Ben Skywalker, or any of the other main characters. Plus, its so great reading about the character reactions because when it comes to the characters from the films, you can picture in your head how the actor is acting. Say, for example, when Han and Lando are talking, you can imagine how Harrison Ford and Billy Dee Williams are acting. That's one of the main things I love about the Star Wars novels in general.

Has anyone else read any of this series at all? If so, give me your take on it. And please remember, if you're going to post spoilers, use the spoiler tag.

Guess I'm the only one besides Mailman who reads/has read any of the Star Wars novels then?

I read some a few years ago. Can't remember much about them though other than they were pretty good.

I read a few Timothy Zahn ones, but otherwise, none.

These sound interesting though, local bookstore would have them?

Yes, they would, and I highly recommend them. Though, just for warning, the book Sacrafice(fifth book in the series), isn't out in Paperback yet, only in hardback, while the ones after it are in paperback already(don't ask me why, its odd).

I would have already bought the next books in teh series after Sacrafice, but don't have the money, so I just got done reading the Han Solo Trilogy which leads right into A New Hope. I highly recommend it also, because it ties up a lot of things (Say, when Han and co go to Cloud City and Lando is mad at him, it explains that). Oh and did you guys know Chewbacca was a husband and father! But that wasn't told in the movies, but yeah.

One day, I'm gonna write an official Star Wars book dammit. I know enough about the series as a whole to do so effectively.
