Awhile back I won a commission from the creator of plush and blood. Not having the net at home I decided that for something to do I would colour it and this is what I ended up with. I'm really happy with how the fire ended up. The original commission was just of Farwielder but I decided to make it a bit more dynamic by adding the building and moon.

I have no idea who that character is, but I did like it. I really like that style, the fire especially reminds me of The Wind Waker. It has a very dynamic feel, like it's a still frame from an animation.

I like it, it has an abstract feeling, me thinks. Something that caught my eye was that the Moon has a couple areas (the top and near the right side) that are jagged. If you meant to do it, then super, I know that obviously the Moon isn't anything near a "perfect circle". Also, what are the string-looking things that are hanging over the building? They just look weird to me.

This is a very interesting piece. It's not my style so much, so I speak with a partial bias. The colour selection is spot on. The way you drew the figure and the atmosphere though, I'm not too sure if I like it. I can imagine that to another set of eyes this piece is immaculent though. Good work.

It's pretty good and looks really awesome. The only thing I don't like are the yellow outline type things. They don't really add anything for me. Also, I find it funny how simply you drew the lower part of the building.

For everyone wondering, the yellow lines are just part of the fire. I tend not to use much black and white in the things I've been doing lately and they looked odd black but I do like them.

As for the building being simple I didn't want it pulling your attention too much away from the character. All I wanted was a simple background that would draw your eyes to the character. This is accomplished through leading lines, the top of the building and the corner.

The jacked up moon, I honestly don't know why it looks like that. I used the circle tool and held shift but for some reason it did that and I didn't end up noticing it until I had finished.

I'm not sure I really understand what's going on in the picture. Is he about to fly away from something that's blowing up? Is he punching something off of the roof? Is he bursting through the roof which is on fire? It doesn't help that I can't see where his legs are and what they're doing.

Although it confuses me, your style is good. The lines in the fire work really well, with the exception of the rocks falling down over the edge. I also like how you made him look shiny.

He's supposed to be busting up through the roof, he has broken it with his flame powers as he is flying up through the building.

Also I agree about the yellow lines on the rocks that are tumbling over the building, I meant to add fire to them but never got around to it and with out it the yellow looks like ass there.

Glad you didn't pay any money for that commission. I've seen other stuff you've colored and I know you can do way better, so I'm assuming the guy who originally drew it just sucked.

I like the style, it really reminds me of Wind Waker.

However, it's confusing. Is he wearing a trench coat/cloak thing? I thought it was a mountain erupting at first. Still, I really like it.

He's got a cape. Also there are no legs because they weren't drawn in the original, that's why I added the building too.

He can create and control flames. His suit, which was given to him by his batman-esque mentor to replace his old suit, which consisted of plain clothes and a face mask, allows him the ability to fly as well as providing some armor. The suit also has built in stim packs and the ability to bend light allowing for some invisibility.

I started playing pokemon diamond again and decided I'd challenge myself a bit. I'm drawing every pokemon that I catch and what ever they evolve into, not holding back and catching things like I would normally. That means if I see it and don't have it I catch it. If I don't use them in my team and they don't evolve, after I finish getting all the badges and fighting the elite four I'm going to go back and train them all so the do.
