Sprite Contest Number 2

After the high demand to be involved in the second time around, I've created the second competition sooner than usual.

Our champion from the last one (Hats Of!) will be defending his title against all the up and coming contestants.

Here's the competition chart, if I'm not mistaken I've gotten a confirmation from everyone on it.

Ok, so the first challenge will be something small. I would like to see everyone create their own Ghost. I'm sure everyone knows what a ghost is, so there's no need to elaborate.

I'm looking for creativity. C-R-E-A-T-I-V-I-T-Y! The bar was set pretty high by some of the sprites given last time, so let's see some creativity people.

As usual, there's a twist. As we all know, ghosts can come in many colours and shapes and such. The largest the ghost can be is 120 x 120. The smallest is 75 x 75. Odd colour to see on a ghost, but I'm sure everyone here can do it.

Ok, here it is, in my opinion it's not great but I think it's good for my first ever sprite. The ghost is supposed to resemble the pacman ghosts a little. He's trying to sell a toy version of himself.

Caveghost taking home his ghostrabbit dinner. The leopard spots are the sample colour. This colour is a favourite of most of the caveghost community.

Ok, well as soon as I thought of ghosts, I thought of chains. I seemed to have been matched up with an art master, which kind of let me down a bit, but oh well. Here he is:

The colour is on his chains. He moves like a snake, that's why there's an odd looking bit of cloth, because it's following his main body.

Ok forget clown and welcome, The ghosts of Fan Arts Past. FA1 is an angel (not that I know wether it was any good or not), Fan Art 2 is the devil, full of dodgy art and crap jokes, and Fan art 3 is stuck in limbo having died so young. Oh and although you can barely tell the angels bow and the devils forks handle is the brown colour.

Next Challenge!

I would like everyone to show me their great skills and create a spaceship. No UFO crap though, too easy to make an oval with a circle on the top. I'm talking about fighter ships, etc. Be creative, don't copy off of other people's work.

These colours are what I want to see on the spaceship. As ursername180 stated, I never specified how much of the colour has to be on the spaceship. And I don't intend to, I enjoy seeing the creativeness of where the colours are going.
The spaceship can be no bigger than 160 x 100.

I've decided to say "nuts to the chart" and make things interesting.

I changed the chart once, and before everyone even started posting the next sprite, i stated it was everyman for himself. Stop whining and get over it. Your sprites are good, there's no doubt. But i wanted creativity, not copying.

Well, it took me absolutely ages to think of a good idea for this challenge, because it was a hard one, Gryphon!
Well, purple's in the flames and lazer beams, and the green is obvious to find. It's a view of the spaceship from bird's-eye-view. The little scribble is my signature by the way, just unless you get confused and think it's a really dodgy star.

The next challenge should cause the competition to stiffen up (pun, you'll see why). I would like to see the four of your create your very own gargoyle. It must be earth toned colours, because you never see a bright pink and purple gargoyle perched on a building. I would like the four of you to please be creative, while staying within the given guidelines and time. I've chosen the four of you because of the creativeness I've noticed. Not to say the others haven't been creative, but you get my drift.

I like creativity, you should all know by now. I'll give 24 hours, and once 24 hours is up, if not all are in, you're disqualified. No waiting around this time.

There's no twist, just stick to earth tone-ish colours, and make it look like an actual gargoyle.

Jesus, this took me a LONG time to create. I found 15 different earthy colours, and made a pallette out of them, then use the pippette each time to use them. It's really detailed and it's the longest time I've taken to make a sprite. It's 92 by 118 pixels.

Holy shit, so its obvious PyroOwen makes it to the final round. And the person joining will be none other than Hats of!. The reason I didn't choose Godly's was because, to me anyways, it gave off a sense of it was furry and alive, if anyone gets what I mean. And I found MK lacked a bit in the creative department this time around, unfortunately.

The next challenge will consist of creating your own evil character, one henchman, and the evil lair.
I have nothing else to say, only to be creative. no twists this time, I want to see creativity at its finest.
