Or as I call it - "Alens versus Predators 2- They seriously made this."
Continuing the tradition of spending all their budget in costumes, makeup and CGI and not hiring decent actors instead, folks over at Fox decided to make a sequel.
The plot: Aliens beat the everloving shit out of Predators. Random people die.
Well at least they got good writers.[/sarcasm]

All this said, you can bet your ass I'll be watching this.

AVP was not all that great, I cannot believe they are going to make another.

I would not go to a theater to see it, maybe rent it once it comes out on DVD.

There is an AVP PSP game exclusive coming out, i look forward to that, but to be honest the movies are pretty darn terrible.

My brother-in-law bought the original for me a couple years back for Christmas. And, well, it was a Paul W.S. Anderson movie. I didn't expect much more than what I got, considering the only good thing he ever did was Event Horizon. This one isn't in the hands of Mr. Anderson, however, so it may have potential. Well, saying that is saying that the idea of an Alien Vs. Predator movie had potential in the first place, so... meh.

There's no hope for sequels to shitty movies. I have yet to see such an exception where a sequel outshine a crappy original.

Actually this looks better than the first one, only because it looks like it's going to be rated R because of A LOT more blood and gore scenes. I mean, AvP sucked on its own, by excluding the blood and gore it actually became 100% worse. I might go see this only for the sole reason that it looks insanely gorey.

Ill probably go see it for the same reason as BMP. Since it looks like a huge improvement from the first one in the gore department.

Also isnt the lady from one of the first alien movies in this or is it just my imagination?

I know where you're coming from. The scene that cheerleader is stapled on her side to the wall by a predator-rang alone is worth it.

That movie looks insanely awesome. How many people go splat just in that trailer?

I was not a fan of the first one by any means, but I think this one will be worth the money.

I'm liking the increase on the gore factor. I might check it out when it comes out.

I liked the first and knew there was going to be more, I can spot cliff-hangers-that-lead-to-sequels a mile away :)

Edit: Just saw the trailer, I couldn't tell (it all goes by really fast) but I didn't really see the new hybrid. For those of you who didn't see AvP or just dont remember it ends with a alien coming out of a predator which some of the predators features, hybrids are made of win :)

This looks like a massive improvement, mainly because it's not too dark to see anything. You couldn't see any gore or decent fights in the original, 'cos there was like no light.

I thought the first one was mediocre and when I heard they were making a second one I had high hopes the franchise would redeem itself. With this trailer it seems it has. More gore, action and all around ass kickery plus some dude's kid gets face raped by a hugger.

I'll be seeing this, but I really wish they'd just move on to the future. What I really wanna see is space marines caught up in the fight (like in Aliens), not some stupid townsfolk from a podunk town running around with shotguns. Where's the smartgun? THE SMARTGUN???

Whoa, that looks sweet. There's more gore in the trailer then 7 times the first one. I'll definitely be seeing this one. On top of that, getting gored through the head is cool.

I hated AvP with every fiber of my being, but that movie looks like it'll be ridiculously awesome.

Anyway, I'm amazed at the responces from people about the trailer, maybe I just wasn't looking carrfully enough but it looks just like the first but with more human slaughter, if that was the only thing that made you not like the first then I don't understand you lol.

Pretty sure there's no PA hybrid, or it would be at least hinted at in the trailer.
