So some teacher showed some 6th graders the first few minutes(allegedly) of the R-rated movie, 300.
While some argue that the movie is inaccurate and filled with gore, violence, and sex.
The first five minutes is not, and is a pretty accurate representation of early Spartan training.
So I think the teacher isn't in the wrong and should be okay.
No matter if the the movie is rated R itself, the first few moments are pretty much PG.

Positive - “300” is pretty much the equivalent of seeing something blow up in the most awesome fashion right in front of your face. Everything about this movie is insanely cool, from the battles to just hearing Leonidas talk. So some teacher showed some 6th graders the first few minutes(allegedly) of the R-rated movie, 300.
While some argue that the movie is inaccurate and filled with gore, violence, and sex.
The first five minutes is not, and is a pretty accurate representation of early Spartan training.
So I think the teacher isn't in the wrong and should be okay.
No matter if the the movie is rated R itself, the first few moments are pretty much PG.
