Well I found out that I have around $300 USD in my bank account, my mom has $700 of credit at Best Buy, and my sister has credit at Dell (I do not know the amount but it is certain that its under $1000). They are willing to get me a computer just aslong as I pay. Like I said before in my old thread I need a computer that can handle Flight Simulator X (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8054099&type=product&tab=2&id=1158316224502#productdetail)(details in the link) with a breeze but still in my price range. So I've narrowed down to 3 computers from Best Buy.

Computer #1 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8775792&type=product&productCategoryId=pcmcat39100050018&id=1204331848242)
Computer #2 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8649322&productCategoryId=abcat0501004&type=product&tab=2&id=1195599475384#productdetail)
And Computer #3 (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?skuId=8398735&productCategoryId=abcat0501004&type=product&tab=2&id=1179877268129#productdetail)- OUT DUE TO BAD THINGS SAID

To tell you the truth I'm leaning more towards computer number 2 becuase of its processor speed. I might get expansion pack and that takes up 2 Ghz.

If you find a better computer at Dell, then tell me so I can look at it.

DO. NOT. GET. EMACHINES

I have heard absolute horror stories about people buying them because they are cheap, and then having them permanently crash.

If you get any of those computers you will still have to buy a graphics card. They all have an integrated graphics chip which used some of your ram for video memory. Other than that one and two are basically the same thing with a little bit of difference in the processor. I would go for the cheaper one.

Whatever you do DO NOT get eMachines, they are horrible, and I have heard nothing but bad things about them.

If I were you I would get the first computer, you talked about processor speed as for your needs, well the first is a quad-core CPU, and I can guarantee it will be faster than the second CPU.

So I've ruled out Computer #3. So for every core its a different processor?

Um well not really, multiple cores mean that it is one chip. So a dual core is sort of like having two single core processors. What it boils down to, your computer can really only do one thing at a time, but it does everything so fast it seems like it is doing multiple things, a multiple core processor means that you can actually do two things (dual core) or four things (quad-core) at once.

They are horrible, and a pain in the ass to repair.

I had an e-machine... but ended up having to replace everything because e-machines are crap!

AND everytime I went on the website, as soon as I set it to "Canada" the language switched to french . Not all of us are french .

Do you have access to all your mom's Best Buy credit? For $1000 you can build a top of the line computer if you're smart about it.

No, I wish. The only thing she told me was I have to pay for it, and it has to be in our credit. I can not afford to spend $1000 and cents. I might spend around $700 or more depending if I buy a discrete graphics card.

El Mojado, if you are thinking about the 8600GT or 8800GT like in the PM earlier, I will tell you right now none of those are discrete, and that the 8600GT will handle anything you throw at it with the #1 rig.

So I have decided to get Computer #1, its affordable in my budget ($6.50 an hour, usually 18-20 hours). Right now I have around $300 in my bank, I usually get $30 from every 2nd check to eat every week. I will probably buy the graphics card after I pay for the computer.

Alright, so I decided to go with Computer #1, and I've accually lowered the price to $599.99. After this I'm getting the graphics card. I'm going to start putting alot of hours. Thanks for the help!
