No this isn't a "Oh my teacher is mean," thread. Its about things like riots, bomb threats and such.
Today my school got attacked by 5 guys from another school: Link (http://news.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=443019). The media is still scratching their heads over it (It only happened this morning) but they have a pretty good idea of whats happening.
I'll give you guys the inside scoop: 5 guys (4 with bats, 1 with a machete) from a rival school came to ours looking for a kid that did some typical gang stuff to them. The kid is in my year, but luckily was away today. The guys came in, attacked a teacher during assembly, and chased some people. Then they got arrested. Nothing all that big but still pretty interesting.
Any of you guys have any simlar stories? If so try include proof and your own view of what happened. It is always more interesting coming from someone inside the school while its happening then from the media.

I heard about this on the news earlier, those guys sound like fucking failures at life. Nothing interesting has happened while I've been attending, but at the school I went to last year, apparently in the past they've had gang problems.
Edit: oh, wait. Last year apparently some dudes were gunna come down from another school to beat someone up for something. No clue who it was that was gunna get beaten up, but me and my second cousin (or something like that) were standing at the gates waiting for them, as were a good majority of the people in my year level and the year level below.
I think they realized they'd be taking on the whole school, and thought better of it.

Shit, you have gang rivalries between schools? Either I'm too sheltered or too mature for this world. Probably both.

Merrylands High (Me) and Granville Boys (them) have had a few gang wars in the past few years. Last year someguy from my school got slashed under the eyes.
The most recent was a gun threat to my school. Some guy who didn't even attend my school said he was going to shoot up the school and security was heightened like crazy with a whole mess of cops around the school.

I had like 2 bomb threats at my old school, or 3 at least, after I switched to another school, I once walked past my old one and saw a bunch of cops around.

My school has a feces and urine problem. There was an incident a few years ago where a student put human poop in the hallways and they called him the "Mad Crapper". He was never caught and now there have been some people doing the same. A kid put dog poop in a guys classroom and there was a gatorade bottle filled with piss in a fire extinguisher case. A lot of them didn't care about the school since it was a private school so some of them got caught and were asked to leave. Funny stuff.

This is what happens when stupid highschoolers forget their place. "Gangs" whose members are all under the age of 18 = dumb kids trying to feel important.
The most that ever happened at my school was fights between two kids. The whole way they went about it was dumb - arranged a time and place, telling all their friends about it, etc. It's a fight, not a fucking date, you faggots. If someone pisses you off to the point where you want to beat their face in, you start beating their face in right then and there. You don't schedule a goddamn event.

Well the last big thing to happen at my school, was a senior (a pretty cool guy by the way, I had eaten lunch with him a couple of time), decapitated some guy with a hacksaw, burned most of his corpse, then put his head in a Tupperware container and threw it in a river. The house they did it in was the next to my friends house. =/
But yeah we have a lot of Black kids just running into our school (we have about 6000 students, so nobody really notices anybody new) settle some business, then run out.
The problem with my school is the gangs and its proximity to the projects where many gangs reside.

I agree, with the principle. If you're gonna settle it, settle it like men.
The closest thing to gang violence I've ever heard about at my school was when one of the GAP students got stabbed at a party by some douche who was pissed off that he wasn't invited.

Oh snap...
There is no gang violence cause I go to a private school filled with arrogant white kids(with the occasional token black guy). A fight breaks out every once and a while but it is never anything that gets someone hospitalized.

My CEGEP is located downtown Montreal and is often involved in protestations. Most of the students are hippies, but we're generally protesting against scholarship fees always rising up for un-justified reasons. Here's a video from November 2007, but it's not all about what happened at my school so just watch from 0:30 to 1:18.

Nothing used to ever happen on school grounds at my high school, but it was fairly common to see Vietnamese gangs of up to 30 kids waiting at the McDonalds up the road, carrying Country Road bags just the right size and shape to fit a machete and a crow bar.
Also, some kids from a suburb near me got charged for selling a homemade DVD in schoolyards. It had footage of them fighting and making chlorine bombs, however it was extra controversial because it showed them sexually assaulting, setting fire to and pissing on a mildly intellectually disabled girl. The DVD was selling for $5 in school grounds all over the western suburbs of Melbourne.

My first real fight.
I went to an all girls school for three years, and I finally moved to a co-ed school. 5 weeks in, one day I’m away from school, the next day I come back and I hear all about how some kid (Brandon) dropped his Meat Pie because he was being agro to my mate (Dylan), and my other mate (Geoff) pushed him up against the wall and told him to calm down.
Anyway, the day I get back, I’m at lunch talking with Geoff and he gets this call from our mate Peter who tells him that some kids who hang out in this suburb near our school decided to come into our school at the invitation of Brandon, go looking for Geoff and try to bash him up. Considering we got a text saying the same earlier from Peter and then a few people had come up and said the same thing. We told everyone else in the group of people we sit with. They all walked off to the oval (which backs on to a primary school) and told me very firmly to stay there and not follow them. I ignored them of course, and followed them.
They get out onto the oval right, and stop the footy game being played there, about 100 kids in the years of 7-12 crowd around and ask what the hell is going on. I’m standing on a table with a few other girls in my year and explaining to them all that’s happened so far. Suddenly, the crowds on the oval part and about 5 Asian kids who were wearing grey/dark jeans and white hoodies to cover the fact that they weren’t part of the school walked into the crowd, heading straight for Geoff who was in the middle.
Naturally they teachers just line up and do shit all.
Anyway, so this one kids acts as if he’s going to walk straight past Geoff and then turns abruptly sucker punches him in the jaw. Now Geoff is of large build and barely feels it, so he just decks the kid as total mayhem erupts. The Asian kids jump on the nearest guy from my school and everyone from my school jumps on the nearest group of those 5 guys as a few of their mates rush into the fight to (unsuccessfully) help them.
Naturally they teachers just line up and do shit all.
The group of Asian kids start to run, people chase after them and finally the teachers jump into action, they catch a few, the cops are called, ambulance is called, and it officially goes down in my school’s history as the Marsden Meat Pie incident. (As named by the deputy principal too…)

My high school was the best at this kind of thing so I'll share with you all a few stories:
1. On my first day of school, one of the kids is stabbed by a fellow gang member and chased around the entire school. There's blood EVERYWHERE and the kid (year 9) almost dies.
2. At an ice-skating excursion, a guy from another school gets a bit lippy (just teasing us about how we go to the scrub school), so one of the guys from my school rips off his iceskate and slashes his face. We got banned from going there ever again.
3. At an after-school dance concert (i.e. ballet and stuff, not a disco), two of the girls start fighting. A teacher steps in to break it off so one of the girls parents steps in and decks the teacher. A couple of other parents step in, and the school based police officer. Police officer and the teacher both end up getting taken to hospital.
There's plenty more but I actually witnessed these 3 and they were the most exciting. We had alot of gang violence, drugs, a couple of murders.

I live in one of the quietest parts of england so nothing like that ever happens here, some kid in my year got stabbed last year but it was just superficial (basically a scratch)
As far as school rivalry goes we call the other boarding school students greeners...Yeah us english are hardcore

This doesn't seem like a discussion so much about school issues as gang issues and the like. It's scary. Gang violence is definitely getting a strong foothold, including in many new places no one is ready for or expecting it. My relatively small city is one of them. In the past decade or so we've started getting a few violent crimes from it, a lot of graffiti and a lot of kids trying to feel important being bad-ass in their pants that won't stay up while trying to pick fights. I'm not going to go into detail now, but looking into how vicious some of these gangs- especially ones based on ex-soldiers (freedom fighters/terrorists)- is incredibly frightening; even more so when you see how little is being done about it.
At least with prison gangs, some foreign ones where there is no economy and whatnot, I can kind of understand it. But suburban kids with little if any in serious complaints? That's just silly. There's no ghetto here, but a lot of people who like to pretend they're from it.

Really, nothing much has happened at my school; it's a private school.
There was this one time that an Aboriginal stole a car from the teacher's parking lot and started circling around the school. Nothing happened.
Oh, and when I was in year eight, there was this hell slutty girl that had this person try to kill her. Nothing happened. :ahe:

OH GOD JONC SHUT UP
...Oh wait.
My school wasn't exciting at all, people thought they were tough but in any hint of a fight they backed off. Although some chick got a fractured skull at the train station, some other kid was trying to be tough and thrw a block of cement off the stairs, didn't realise there were people standing underneath it.

When I was in my old school we had a rival gang school, then they started building a new school and brought us rival schools together, since then our school has been hell.
Something similar happened at a school in the Cape Flats (notorious gang area), here in SA a while ago. Several older kids broke into a school with the intention of robbing the students. When one of the older kids tried to harrass a pupil, he pulled out a knife and stabbed the older kid to death. Justice? I'll look for a link, but stuff like this doesn't make headlines here, so I might struggle.

I saw that on the news tonight, was pretty funny to me. Sydney is such a ghetto.
The closest I've got is my old school challenged another school to a huge fight and they were talking loudly about it all day so the teachers called the cops and nothing happened. In other news, my school got hit by lightning last year.
http://www.smh.com.au/news/National/Lightning-strikes-central-coast-school/2007/12/04/1196530667442.html
Which was actually a day or two after I left the school. :D
We had bomb threats/shooting threats about every other day. Sometimes school was canceled, but most of the time we still went, and we all had to get searched. Nothing ever happened.
The one hockey game I didn't go watch, our schools students started a fight with a rivals schools students. Like, people running off the bleachers and just swinging. We weren't allowed at anymore hockey games without our parents there.
Fights were a regular occurrence. The worst one I witnessed was a kid throwing another kid up and into this big glass panel (floor to ceiling window). The kid just slammed into it, and slid down. There was blood everywhere.
A girl I used to be friends with, and another girl, cut themselves in the bathroom, and wrote 'I cut to be free' on the walls. In their blood. That was kind of disturbing.
My school district was also in the news, at least twice, for sexual acts happening between the students on the bus. We were even mentioned on The O'Reilly Factor because he thought our principle should be fired. You know, since it's the principals fault and all. :indiff:

Everything's everyone's fault except Bill O'Rielly's.
The worst my school ever had was when some guy running from the ploce ran through the school grounds chased by like ten officers. They caught up with him on the field, it was awesome.

In middle school, lots of rival gang fights in the hallways. One day though,a gang jumped one lone rival with bats and brass knuckles. They sucked at it too, because the lone guy wasn't all that hurt, but still went to the hospital.
I go to a school for kids who got kicked out of regular school, and there actually really isn't any major problems. The worst we get is 15 year old kids who think they're in a gang, drug deals in the hallway and bitchy drama. There's not even any fights.

It would be my like eighth time suspended and they start cracking down on you.
It would be my like eighth time suspended and they start cracking down on you.
Ah. At the school I went to, the more you got suspended the less you got away with. Fights were always five days no matter what.
At my school if you got into a fight on school grounds they had the ability to expel you. It never happened when I was there, mostly people just got 1-2 month long suspensions, which meant you had to take all of those classes over again, unless you went to this place during your suspension where they sent your school work.
In my first year a girl was murdered by her brother. He beat her for hours and then cut her into pieces and put her in the family freezer. We used to talk a lot because she was friends with my cousin.
There was never any gang violence or riots though. We're a little arts school in Southern Ontario with at most 500 kids.

There was some school rivalry back when i was in school, through primary (ages 5-12) and secondary (ages 13-16/ 17-18 optional)
I remember one day back in school, there was discussion in the changing rooms with some of the guys about going over to Ayr Academy to beat up some people (we were Mainholm Academy, RIP Mainholm D:)
I think it was over some football game, some insults flying left and right, and it just pushed them over the edge i guess.
And at our school, if we got into fights, it would usually end up in a suspension for a few days, week sometimes.
On very extreme cases, it led to expulsion (such as bleeding, broken bones or damage to any of the schools equipment/property)
Honestly, humans can be stupid...

Damn, the schools here must be worse than I thought because I've never seen a fight where there was no blood and it's always been only 5 days.

When I was in 7th grade, there was a school about 15 miles away from mine that had this kid bring in a machete for a project in his freshman Spanish class the day before Thanksgiving break. He asked the teacher if he could turn out the lights and shut the door because they were about to watch a movie. Once he did so, he started slashing random kids with a machete because I guess they gave him a lot of shit and he just took it. Right before he did though, he said "Happy Thanksgiving". I knew a girl from my old school that was in the class and she freaks out if someone says "Happy Thanksgiving". The only thing that happens around my school is MAYBE a suicide. And even those aren't that bad(my mom just read that sentence and looked at me strangely). At our high school that arrested a whole bunch of kids because they brought in one of those drug sniffing dogs and they found like a load of drugs in lockers.
But fights in my school are rare and pathetic.

At the end of last year, for 3 weeks we had a bomb threat every day at the same time. He knew some stuff about computers so he rerouted any trace to his IP address or something, but eventually the FBI knocked on his door and he was arrested. Sorry, but I can't be arsed to look up the article but just search Timberline High School on Komo 7 if you're really interested.
What's really stupid is that the schools plan was instead of sending us all home, to send us all to the same spot, the soccer field. If the kid had the bomb in his bag, we'd all be an easy target, since we were all together.
On a plus note, I got out of having to take several tests.

I was jumped by three freshmen my senior year because I'm an art kid. I won. epic fight. the "leader" sent the other two kids in after calling me out, so I put one's head into the wall (the drywall was about 5 mm thick, very cheaply done {it got stuck}) and just took out the other in a one on one fight. Then I went up to the "leader," and pulled my switchblade comb because I was in an amazing mood that day to make a joke and the kid ran away.
Then we had a few gang fights, nothing too big, but one kid got shot. Lots of kids got cut but nothing serious. We did have one guy come in and threaten to shoot up the school with an AK. Yet the thing clearly had the orange tip. it was fun times.

Gang members will sometimes paint the tips of their guns orange to try to fool police officers. You shouldn't get careless just because you see an orange tip on a gun.

No proof at the moment, but we had a kid with a loaded gun in our school. Guess what? My freshman year of high school we had a bomb threat at the same time every day for like 2 months. And the principal always came on the PA like "We have a code 232" or something, and by the like 4th day we were like "Dude, they can just say bomb threat..."
My senior year after the Virginia Tech shooting we had like 5 fights break out in 2 days, and rumors had gone around one day that someone brought a gun to school, so like all the kids were frantic and the phone lines at school were tied up because it made its way on to the news and parents were calling in wanting their kids to be pulled outta school that day. I was crazy; no one wanted to leave 4th period or be in the mall (cafeteria) or anything.
Oh and I dont remember what year it was but some girls got into a fight and one of the girls pushed this other girl's head into a locker and it knocked the girl unconscious put her in the hospital for like 2 weeks.

Inseln
04-08-2008, 6:12 AM
No, I'm reading it. And that's basically all I have to say on stories. The fact that I'm reading it is proven by this post also.
My old school has nothing on most of you. But there tends to be a few violent trends. In my 5 years there, the worst things to happen in my particular year in school included - Kid hospitalized with sharpened penny stuck in his head following the 'penny-toss trend',
kid hospitalized with broken coccyx following the 'everyone reenact wrestling moves in the yard' trend,
three teachers arrested for paedophilia,
two kids expelled for doing cocaine on school premises,
one kid expelled for punching a teacher in the face,
Two kids suspended for having sex in the toilets (in an all-boys school, so they weren't very popular when they got back).
Worse things used to happen outside of school. There was quite a large group of students who ran a little gang against a rival school. Unfortunately, the gangs didn't stop once they'd left school, and have now become massive problems in East Manchester around Clayton, Ashton, Denton and Gorton. Big up for manchester! You all know about the gang related shootings and stabbings and drug/territory wars etc in the region.
I try not to get involved. The closest I've been to being involved is accused of being a against their particular gang by a group of 12 chavs looking for trouble. Luckily, I can run relatively fast =P.

Nah, at my preppy private school, we don't get much student-on-student violence... But last year when the public school teachers went on strike, teachers came to my school and started stoning all the cars as they came in and when we started getting bomb threats the school closed. I got to miss, like, 3 exams. :) As Jiggz said before, in South Africa iscolated incidents don't really make the news. But here's proof that there was a strike and some violence: http://allafrica.com/stories/200706070472.html

I think she meant the fact that you've posted 3 or 4 times, each time with new stories. Surely the thing to do would have been include all the stories in the one post, rather than waiting for more replies so you can post again, and up your post count?
My high school had bomb threats all the time. They were awesome. The cooler kids would throw shit at the lamer kids. I remember one time some kid got hit with an entire bag of ice.
Then there was a fight one time that erupted into a full fledged riot. The school cops sprayed mace everywhere, since the whole school was jammed going from the athletic fields down the skinny stairs back to the school. Everyone got it. I ran araound to avoid it. I look back and there are like 40 people running behind me.

The only "bad" things thats happened at my school were a few fights and some kids getting caught having sex in the parking lot. Real romantic.
Who said sex had to be romantic?
When I was at the Academy in the first 8 weeks they treat you like children. You are not aloud to leave base, have a POV, or drink alcohol. Well there were several instances of people leaving base in their POV driving drunk and would go downtown where the clubs were. In one instance two sailors who had done the above were shot in the head while at the ATM in a red flagged zone. For the next few weeks there were MANY retaliatory sailor on black crimes in that area. I personally looked for a brawl with some of my buddies when at the bar but usually amounted to nothing but a few punches being thrown. The worst fight I had while at the academy was in the middle of a mechanical operations class. There is a lot of pent up stress in that place and a lot of times it comes out in the middle of a lab. In this case it was a lab on tearing down a certain valve. Wrenches weigh a lot and can cause a lot of unnecessary damage.

All of you guys are so fucking hardcore.
Yeah dude, South Africa rules, man.

My junior year, the percussion instructor got fired for having sex with a freshman every day. I'm not sure where they went (from what I understand it was mostly the parking lot), but one of my friends said he used to drop her off after football games so she she and this like 35 year old guy could do the nasty. Ugh.
Then there was something about one of the teachers killing a bunny in front of her students or something..? It was a few years ago and I didnt really pay much attention to it, but I know it happened.

When I used to live in Puerto Rico, In my 5th grade there were five inmates that escaped a jail only a few feet away from my school, and they shut it down... I mean everything the windows the doors, there were some people crying, because it was dark in the classroom( we had metal panel windows) and some kids were telling these sick stories of what the prisoners were going to do if they caught them. It was hilarious but the teachers beat him so they could stay quiet

A lot of people say they are gonna do things at my school, but never do.
The worst I ever saw was just a fight that got bad, like real bad. Two guys got into it and it was an all out slug fest. One of them got knocked back a bit and picked up a glass bottle of tea and smashed it on other dudes face. He then proceeded to climb on top of him and beat his head into the concrete floor. He cracked his skull before he started punching him in the mouth and broke apart his braces. He then ripped them out, hit him again knocking out teeth this time, before standing up and kicking him in the ribs, breaking two. It got so bad people quit cheering and just started begging him to stop. haven't seen either since, no idea whats happened to them.

That happened to my school a few weeks ago. Some year 12 guy started groping my neighbours (12 year old) kid. So his older brother started a fight with the groper when the gropers friend jumps in. Some more leb kids jump in, and it turns into a riot. There was a crowd following a bunch of guys following the friend of the groper, until the teachers locked him in the canteen. It was more 'rioty' then that but I can't be bothered typing up the details

Likewise for my highschool, there were never any issues with knives or bombs only the pathetic meet-up-at-certain-time-and-fight threats which in most cases never happened. There always seems to be lots of talk about fights between chavs and emo's though, which again never happen. Although there is a lot of crime itself in my town, it's kind of rough, during the World Cup a portuguese pub was attacked windows smashed, and i think particially set alight all because they beat the English.
There doesn't seem to be as many serious attacks (guns, large knives etc) that go on within schools in the UK - from my knowledge, compared with that in the US, is that because things like that are more accessable in the US than the UK, or simply because the country is bigger there is a greater land:nutters?

Way back in grade 7 or something like that I was planning to go to my first school dance ever. It was cancelled because someone decided to spread shit all over the walls in the gym and hallways. Imagine being twelve years old hearing the principal make an announcement saying the dance is cancelled because of "Excessive amounts of human feces." Those were his exact words. One of the funniest moments of my life.
Buddy moved away afterwards. Dead serious.
There's been other stuff too, couple of guys got stabbed last year, a few bomb threats (including one at the senior prom) but the poop on the walls in grade 7 is something I'll always remember.

My school's actually had at least 2 or 3 bomb threats in the past 2 years. It's this little tiny hick town school with only about 1,000 kids attending it (elementary through high school). Last year, a kid and one of the teachers played a prank by calling from a pay phone from inside the school and pretending to be Borat. The kid was saying, "I've got a bomb, I've got a bomb." Here's how dumb our school is: They took us out to sit on the bleachers that were RIGHT BEHIND THE SCHOOL. Not even 1/4 of a mile away.

I live in a relatively sheltered and peaceful town, and parents completely freaked out when a gang formed in one of the middle schools. The gang was called "223" and was made up of a bunch of morons wielding sporks, butter knives and BBQ prongs. Apparently they liked to start pointless fights at the movie theatre.
In high school we had one bomb thread and a few two-person fights. It a pretty boring school.
I go to an all-girls' Grammar school, and it's been set fire to by students about three or four times in the last ten years or so.
Though we reckon the senior staff set up the last fire. It burnt out the canteen they wanted to rebuild anyway (insurance scam, anybody?) and the CCTV footage was 'too dark' to catch a glimpse of the perpatrator, despite the same CCTV camera being able to catch one of the dykes in the year above stealing a garden gnome from the school pond. :ahe:
Other than that it's just general gossip and drama that happens when you put over a thousand teenage girls in the same place.
Although earlier this year, we had a whole gang of kids from the shit school down the road hang around outside our gates to beat up some year eight girl or something. We had police on the gates and everything. No idea what was going on there, I don't have anything to do with small people.

Right now there is quite a bit of controversy (and danger for some) at my university. Thanks to someone's art project, there are now threats against several faculty members. The president of the university had to cancel a discussion group she had planned on the art project because of the threats made against her, and one of the art professors had to have a police officer posted outside the classroom, in case anything happened (due to threats).

Some people felt that it was the desecration of the American flag - because it was just simply placed on the ground for an art project. I, personally, didn't care so much about that, though. My opinion was more along the lines of "Oh, crap. The art majors are at it again." There are some people that are incredibly upset about that, though. Others? In the YouTube video, there is a part where the Provost says something to the effect of "Its just a piece of cloth and you don't fight for pieces of cloth." For me, that is what I do not agree with. While he may believe that personally, I don't feel that someone in that position of an educational institution should be saying. The bottom line there being its just not good politically. And honestly, yeah, I do feel that it is more than a piece of cloth, as do many. Needless to say, the whole thing has sparked a lot of controversy...
Also, many community members were quite outraged by it. While its Maine, it's fairly rural Western Maine. This means that its inherently quite staunchly Republican. And most of the state is, actually. Once you get out of metropolitan areas it turns Republican real fast.

Changed schools thrice in my life. In my current school, nothing really has ever happened. This one guy got punched to hospital for dumping some psycho-bitch, I got into a hospital as well, but it wasn't school related, just happened to be by the people (there WAS quite a lot of them. some with sticks.).
This is England I'm talking about, though, back in good ol' Latvia things worked differently. You see, if no one speaks, no one gets suspended. Nobody speaks, because that's for pussies.
I had this feud even, with this one guy, years ago. Now that I look back, it was just him shouting obscinieties at me, or running away, or me punching the bitch. First time I punched someone to blood too. It was when I was roughly fourteen.
Then, a couple of years later, the whole class of tenthgraders (~30 people), beat up this one guy, in a psycho bitch related accident. No one got expelled, nor even suspended.
And, finaly, the daugter of the principal overdosed on something. Of course, it was kept to be a complete secret, but my mom's a lawyer, and she knew it soon enough. So, I was one of the first to know it.

I think there were only something like 9 deaths (out of the 40 shootings). It's not like someone is going Columbine on their asses, it's more like Johnny is walking home from school and gets a cap in the ass. One kid was going for ice cream and got killed on the way to get ice cream. One of the kids shot was an 8-yr-old on his way to the candy store. On average, there is a kid killed from the shooting once every 8 days.

There have been a few threats and a few shootings, but most of the shootings have been on the streets between gangs and such. Ok, I live in Puerto Rico, I go to San José (High School), though what im going to tell you happened at our rival school San Ignacio, tragic story. Sorry I can't find an article for you guys since if I could find it it'd be in spanish and I doubt you can read it.
Ok, so what happened was this senior at the rival school was just driving around 11pm back to his home from a party (he wasn't drunk, perfectly sober), and he crashed into a 14 year old on a mortorcycle who ran right past a red light. The kid died.
It turns out the kid in the motorcycle was the son of the leader of a gang (serious gang, not some shitty high school "gang") and when this got all over the news the gang actually threated to come looking for the guy. They hightened the security of the school to maximum, their pep rally had cops at every corner, the seniors aren't allowed to wear their uniforms (now they have to wear regular uniforms like the rest of the grades so if anybody does get past security they wont be able to tell them appart), they can't leave until the school day ends (they were allowed to leave during free periods) and they also wont be able to have a big blowout at the end of their year for security measures.
I can't imagine what that guy is going through but its gotta suck losing all the privileges you waited for since the 7th grade just because of one accident.

Then when everyone came to watch the fight all we see is "You throw the first punch bitch!" "You do it you fucking queer!" Then eventaully everyone said fuck this and left. Really lame

When I was still at school (a few years ago now) some kids at our school bunked, stole a beamer then proceeded to have a high speed chase ending by cutting through our school then jumping out and sitting where they normally sit during lunch and pretending nothing happened.
Was pretty funny really. They all got arrested after some head scratching by the cops but I was always quite impressed these dickheads all came together in the heat of the moment and confused everyone.

We got a pretty quiet school, no threats, no fights wich lead to suspension or anyone bleeding at all.
There have however been 2 things i clearly remember:
One day there came a man into our school who went into the hallway for the little kids(7-9 year olds) and ran up to a little girl, then he took off his clothes and thrusted his genitals in her face, then he tried to put it in her mouth. But the police came and chased him and handcuffed him. After that we saw the little girl crying. We never got any more info on it though.
Also once when i was fighting this guy who i hate in our hallway, he tries to run away and runs through a door, and when im trying to push it open, he slams the door onto my fingers. Hurt like hell and i got nasty marks on my hands for a few hours. :|

Well, my brother is in high school now, and he came home and let us know that some girl in his year had this hit list sort of thing and well, apparently many kids knew of it but he was one of the first to say so. Well she got suspended since our mother emailed the principal and we keep hearing of the text messages people on the hitlist with this like "ur gonna die" and all that and just last week there was a bomb threat. It's become a dangerous place since I graduated.

Earlier this year my school had a gun threat, they checked everyones bags at the door. It was ridiculous. Lets see.. Last year a student and a teacher got together, and now the teacher is serving 3 years. In middle school a teacher was fired because he was like a pedophile.. and we have about an average of one student getting arrested each week. Bad shit is the normal for us these days. I cant wait to get out of my school.

It's them vijamagames.
But seriously, when I was in Highschool, life was pretty tame. Honestly, the worst was probably when a rival school came at night and spray painted penises everywhere, along with one dubbed "The Big One" that wrapped around an entire building.
Pretty lame.

This thread makes me glad to live in the suburbs. Nothing violent happens here. Earlier this year, someone was drawing swastikas and antisemitic things in the bathrooms. It was considered a huge deal.

I don't honestly see how rival school fights still happen. Hell, middle school rivalries between the two up here were more tense than any other school rivalry. Maybe when the new high school opens up, but it just shows that its immature.

I went to about 4 different high schools through out my 4 years. I had seen a lot of fights but the worse one would of had to be between 2 black girls my 2nd year. They threw their drinks at each other and went at it; clawing, kicking, biting, everything. Took about 5 minutes and about 6 people to pull them apart. I was horrified and amazed at the same time.
A close second was my 4th year when one girl got her head slammed into a locker by another girl multiple times. She had it coming by telling the girl no one loved her and thats why she was in a foster home.

Girls never fight by the rules. They may not be written down, but there are deffinitly rules. Now clawing, biting, pulling hair, punching below the belt, etc. And then there is this stupid rule guys can't hit girls. So if they start a fight, all you can do is block them or hold them.
