Specifically while surfing Explosm? How much would you say your daily usage is? Excluding large downloads, like music and videos.

And in general, what is your daily/weekly/monthly usage?

I'm struggling to decide what contract I should get from my ISP, or if I should go pay-as-you-go.

What are your options with your ISP? Pay as you go is usually a terrible idea.

You people have bandwith usage? Poor you.
We just pay a sum of money each month and get unlimited internet for it, I don't even know if we have a thing like that here.
Don't you have things like that there, or is it too costy?

That's what happened everywhere at the dawn of adsl. Flat rate was a luxury those days. But that was a long time ago, so you probably don't remember.

I remember like our first adsl modem, but even then I don't remember any limit. I guess it wasn't early enough.

Everything here is speed based, not usage. I pay 45.99 a month for unlimited use of my 756kbs. Or I could pay 25.99 for ~300kbs.

I pay for unlimited use of cable, but the speed depends on how many people are connected to the network.

Never use pay as you go, it just will not work out. You will always be worried about if you have gone over your bandwidth and you usually have some steep charges for going over.

I think ours is like 1.2megs at its max. Thats download speed, but if our TV is on, then its like up to 500kbps. an its like 45$ I think.

I'd want to go wireless, and wireless internet is a service provided by cellular service providers. I'll have a look at what packages they offer. From what I've seen though, they charge a flat rate per 100MB. The rate depends on which contract you take.

Our internet service structure, compared to how it's structured in the US, is archaic and pointless.

Like I said, our internet service is differently structured here. I understand TV channels are linked to internet service, and you can purchase certain bundles or packages? Whereas here, it's all seperate. Which essentially means it costs a fuck load more.
