I just got a new computer, and downloaded the Zune software and shit, everything was fine and working last night. But today I opened the Zune player and now none of the music is playing. Well, it's playing, but no music is coming out, and I keep getting errors on songs.
Is it my computer, is it me, or is it the Zune player? And what can I do to fix this?

Sounds like it was a problem with the computer. Did you change operating systems when you switched computers (such as Windows XP to Windows Vista)? I would suggest reinstalling the Zune software.

Yes, I switched from XP to Vista. I will probably look around some more to find out what's wrong but if I don't find anything I'll reinstall it.

I bet it is a compatibility issue which is why I asked. What you should try to do is run the Zune software in compatibility mode. If you have an icon on your desktop right click it and go down to properties. Click the compatibility tab and check "Run this program in compatibility mode" and highlight Windows XP. If there is no icon on the desktop you have to go to the folder where you installed the program and find the application that runs and do the same thing as above.

It didn't seem to do anything. I am just going to reinstall it.

You may try re-downloading it as well ad maybe your download was bad.

How the fuck do I uninstall it.

You should be able to do it from Control Panel/Programs and Features.

Every time I uninstall it and reinstall it it does the same thing as before.

Do you have Vista Service Pack 1 installed?

Have you tried using the Software to format the device, then reinstall, and rescan your collection, and finally sync back up?

The Zune can be annoying in some cases. Like right now I have the new Motley Crue song, Saints In Los Angeles, but since the album is left as unknown it doesn't file it under my other Motley Crue songs. Also if "Original Artist" in the file tags are filled in with something your artist gets replaced with whatever is in that space.

Edit: You mean just the software player, nevermind. I thought you meant the Zune itself wasn't playing.

Did you move the song files after you uploaded them into the software?

It's all fixed now, somehow.

You have to love the ability of Microsoft products to randomly fix themselves sometimes.
