The question is mostly for the admins.
...I know I can extract them from my temporary internet files folder, but the thing is, in there they are flash objects(.swf), not .flv files.
Also if there is no way to download them as some video format, can anyone tell me of a good swf-to-video shareware? I'd really appreciate the help.

PS: if the thread needs to be moved please do. I just didnt really know where to put it hehe.

Why do you need them as videos? You can play .swf files with Internet Explorer.

I want to download them to have them on DVD for a friend who loves them. Also it'd be cool to have them in my Sansa.

I dunno, I guess you will have to ask a god or an administrator. Your pick...

Or, if you can find them on youtube, you can download them with vdownloader, though the quality probably isn't the same, though it'd look fine on an MP4 player.

Get a converter, like Super.

Give him a dvd with "EXPLOSM.NET" carved into it.

I'm sure it's possible to burn .swf files onto a DVD.

Over in the tech forum we've got a list of free internet programs (http://forums.explosm.net/showthread.php?t=26421) going. Super (http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html) is in there as a file coversion tool; download the free version at the bottom of the page.

Get a video screen recorder such as Hypercam, Fraps, and record them as they play on your moniter in a window around the area were the movie is playing. The will convert to .wma's after the download, add to windows movie maker in a mash up. Put on a disk and presto.

You just need Firefox with a add-on for downloading .swf files. And swf to video converters aren't hard to fin, use google.

I know about all the converters and stuff. I was just wondering maybe the admins had the movies in another format or something. Thanks for the help anyways. I guess this thread is useless now. Closing it.
