Well, I have an iRiver E10, and I want to convert some movies to the format that you need to have.

It has to be a special size and stuff, and I would like to know if anyone has any good programs that could help?

P.s. If someone else has had this thread, my apologies.

I do this sort of thing alot and have been through a number of different programs. My most favoured one has to be Magic Video Converter by MagicVideoSoftware. Unfortunatly I've had no luck converting .RM files (but I didn't have Real Player installed when I installed MVC, so that might make a difference), and it has no function to rip videos from DVDs, but that is rare amongst video converters.

I see.

Thankyou.

I also own an E10 and at first it was extremely difficult to find the right format for videos.
Download a program called iriverter, google should be able to find it. Install that and it all should work, just copy the converted files into the Videos folder on your iriver.

Edit: It can be found here:

Damn it, I thought this was a thread about a new fan-dangled .avi or some fancy new codec or something. What a shame.

It takes a bit, but I happen to favor this (http://media-convert.com/) online converter, its especially nice for a slow computer and its free.

Doesn't have bad features either.
