I know its early, but they just released a video of someone playing the demo, and so far it looks pretty good. Sure it looks like an average RTS on the outside, but there's HALO CHARACTERS IN IT.

I looked at the forums and everyone's complaining. I thought it looked cool. I've nevver played Halo though.

The voices were stolen from Command n Conquer, obviously.

To be honest, it looks shit. Name 5 RTS titles from 2005 to 2007 that made you look at corpses and terrain scarring as it dissapeared after 5 seconds? Yeah, that's right. Besides that, the graphics look pretty good.

Gameplay wise, I think it'll be pretty crap, since (as seen in the video) there's not much variation in the units and it's always "this unit beats the crap out of this unit, but this here unit beats the crap out of it", since apparently it doesn't matter how much infantry you have because Warthogs will just drive right through them.

It seems rather unlikely that they'll introduce an entire new species into the Halo genre just for this game, so I reckon this'll be a 'two sides' RTS, oh my, how 1995.

Eh, had this discussion on my local forum. It's just a shitty game to cash in on all the fanboys. It'll work too. I mean, it doesn't bring anything new to the genre, just gives us another generic RTS with... :O A halo theme!

It's still being worked on and tweaked. I am kind of impressed with it. I love RTS games, and recently played Command and Conquer 3. I've never played a C&C game before. But I know all about Halo. and I like it because it's themed on something that I know about.

It looks good to me.

I've got time. Halo 3 comes out soon. and many more interesting titles are coming to keep me busy. I can't wait. But I hope they really be careful with the game and don't let people down. But so far, it looks great. I wonder if when you pay as covenant, if you can use the Scarab? ...I'd be un-stoppable. I love the warthog realism.
