Intelligent chatbot

It's a chatbot, but it's different than most. Unlike others, it learns from the people who talk to it. This can have both a positive and a negative effect. Sometimes it says things completely out of context. But other times, It acts surprisingly intelligent. For example, I once told it "I'm going to stab you with a rusty spoon", and it responded, "That wouldn't be very nice, or very good use of tableware.

So, what do you think? Is this the next step in creating life-like artificial intelligence?

Chat bots are fun to screw around with for a bit. There's some faster ones that you can add on MSN messenger, and they remember your details and preferences and stuff.

I tried saying I was Satan and he didn't really like it. He also didn't see himself as a benevolent and omnipotent being. He also said he didn't know, which means God was wrong and the universe will now collapse.

This thing is not really the AI I was thinking the other two are, It does not learn at all and just has a set response for everything you say, To be honest its no better than SmarterChilt or any other generic bot, and has less information.

I've got talktofrankbot@hotmail.co.uk, I told him I was going to take an overdose a bunch of times, and now he refuses to talk to me on the grounds of insulting his mother a number of times.

All I ever do with chat bots is try to get them to take clothes off.
