So, I took my Zen apart to fix a freezing problem, that worked. When I unplugged the battery, plugged it back in, everything was cool, but once I started putting it back together, and the screen came untaped and off.

This is my situation.

I know absolutely nothing about computers or mp3 players, and the instructional video i used didn't say anything about this. How do I fix this?

That's why you leave it to the professionals. That tape stuff can be pretty tricky to fix sometimes. Take it into a place, and I'm sure they could take care of it. Trying to fix it yourself could just cause more problems.

EDIT: I reread and looked at the picture, it looks like you just need to throw that tab back into the socket and it should work. But still, professionals would be a good idea.

I would try plugging the screen back into the socket in the middle of the circuit board. It looks like it was pretty much just unplugged. If you plug it back in and then tape it down if needed, you should be ok.

Just carefully put the end of the tab into the slot in the middle and put it back together.
If that doesn't work try tech support. Unless your warranty is void due to taking it apart.
