Nice covers. I like the trumpeting in both of them. What do you do in the band?

That shit is pretty tight.
Vocals could be a bit more enthusiastic, but otherwise it is pretty rockin'.

Nice, the trumpet parts in "Kiss me Deadly" has been stuck in my head all day. Which trumpet guy are you that it shows on the page the first or second?

Reminds me of Reel Big Fish, in a good way. Nice covers.

Props on the band. Maybe tighten up the trumpet a bit but other than that you guys are legit. Like the name as well.

I know the solo on KMD was horrible, I've done better, but we had one day and I couldn't get perfect pitch after my lips were dead from playing the melodies of the other songs countless times.
My only problem is the voice. It's so damn quiet. Why?
The singer sounds like his mom is in the room next door trying to sleep.

You need more than just trumpets. My band has a great alto/bari saxophonist, a shitty trombonist, and a decent trumpet too lazy to learn his part. You just need some lower brass/horns/whatever.
Also I think the bassist needs to use his fingers (or at least it sounds he's using a pick) and adjust to a better tone. He's really choppy too.
The vocals are decent and what everyone else said.
In general your guitarist and bassist are both choppy and you need more horns/brass/whatever.
But overall it's good.
First, Reel Big Fish already did a cover of "Kiss Me Deadly" and it's awesome. Secondly, this needs a lot of work.
As a matter of fact, trumpet.
The trumpets aren't together when they play and when they do play, they can't hit the notes that they have written for themselves. Did you even listen to this?
The vocals aren't terrible but there's no life behind them. When who ever sings, really fucking sing. Don't be embarrassed about your voice and how it sounds just fucking sing.
You guys need more bottom too. My favorite parts about ska music is the bass and the organ stuff. Those bass players move like mad men when they play.
This might be your first recording and it sounds ok. My old teacher used to say, "Practice makes better." Practice your faces off. Get together as often as possible and just practice, joke, bullshit around and just become super tight. And then re-record.

We lost our trombonist to another ska band and our old bassist to the army so now our only low is a new bass player. We're trying to get another bone, and yeah we'll pratice more.
