I'm looking for a car stereo that you can dock your ipod in to play it. I don't want one of those ones that just have a cord that you can put into your ipod sound jack, I want one that will hold the ipod on and charge it as well (A la the transpod that connects to the car outlet). Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best, semi-inexpensive one I should get? I don't really need it to do anything else (except radio, of course). Thanks for any help.

I have one that's a Sony. I couldn't give you the exact model name/number off the top of my head, though. It's pretty nice. I think it cost me about $130. It also plays CDs and has an auxiliary input. I like it because I never have to charge my iPod, my iPod stays in my glove box, so it's not in sight if I park my car. The only real problem I have with it is using the actual stereo to navigate through my iPod. I've got over 5,000 songs on a few hundred different albums. I can skip through artists or albums, but it always starts from the beginning, and moves pretty slowly. It gets to be a real pain, especially while driving. So, usually I just reach over into my glove box, unplug my iPod and scroll through until I find what I like, then plug it back in.
I don't know if other models can scroll through the library more quickly or not, but it's something you might want to check on.
