So I've started a pop punk band with several friends of mine. The drummer is thinking of quiting and if he quits the whole band is going to collapse. Now I'm trying to convice him to stay with basically a list of people who like our music.

So my question to all of you, should we stay together?

EDIT: Our recordings sound like shit because we are using pretty inexpensive recording stuff.

Well I gave it a listen, and yeah the recordings are not so hot. That would be fine, but it sounds like your instruments are really out of tune. Where are the lyrics? Isn't pop punk supposed to have lyrics?

In all honesty I would say call it quits. Trust me, you will find another band and it will probably be better. Every band I have ever played in has been better than the one before it. Good luck either way.
