I have 5 speakers to my desktop hooked up. On this lower shelf on my computer desk I have this giant, box thing the size of my computer with a knob that I guess controls the speakers (even though the middle speaker has a knob that controls the sound). Every single knob and volume control is turned all the way up incase it being turned off was the problem, but it wasn't.

Anyways, I was playing Call of Duty and when I got off, I couldn't hear a thing. Nothing is muted, except for the microphone. I'm not sure if I have to reinstall the driver or whatever, but if I do, I don't know how. Oh, and if I plug something in the headphone jack it plays, but its just the speakers that're fucking up. Usually the volume icon is in the bottom right task bar, but it's missing now.

Right now I'm using these crappy speakers that are plugged into a headphones jack.

If the headphone jack is working, but the speakers aren't then you either have some volume switch you are unaware of turned down. Or the speakers are blown, that's the only two conclusions I can come to with these circumstances.

Try plugging other speaker into your PC, if they work then your speakers are malfunctioning.

Edit: Thanks Spastic, that was the problem. I had to check my wires and turn on a plug I turned off. I feel stupid.
