I thought I'd go ahead and post our convention schedule so everyone can get tickets. These cons tend to offer cheaper tickets on the first day or the last day, so that's a good option if you aren't that into the whole comic con thing but still want to meet us.

As always, be sure to check back here often as we get more info such as booth info and after con meet-ups.

And of course, if you're in those cities feel free to use this thread to suggest stuff to do, places to eat and drink, etc. If you're not in those cities use this thread to figure out how you're gonna get there.

Yea but the cocktails have bugger all alcohol in them and therefore aren't really that cheap at all.

But I admit Weatherspoons is probably a good option, so long as it's not too late in the evening, because they do tend to have bouncers which would make it a bit of a no-go for those underage.

I have never posted on here, I've read the daily's for over 2yrs now and never felt the need until now...the london convention is right where I live...I know the area really well, in fact i walk past earls court 2 on my way home every nite...Good luck trying to get in anywhere round there under 18 without fake ID even if its wetherspoon, a friend of mine owns a pub very near there but he wouldn't risk his licence....I'd invite you all back to mine but I'm off the Latitude that wkend!!...otherwise i'd go!...but if anyone needs pub tips or hotels tips even I'm ya girl....

How about this. We buy a bunch of fake beards and mustaches and put them on the underage people. Then we hide tranquilizer guns inside the beards so they can shoot anyone who gives them crap about their age.

This sounds like the best plan so far.
I just have to persuade my mate to go all the way to London with me. Saturday will be best for after convention fun will it not? As everything will be open. The world is crap on Sundays.

If you're in San Diego and you want to get the best Carne Asada Fries or Nachos, you need to go to La Mesitas at 7006 University Ave, La Mesa, CA 91941. It's a complete hole in the wall and no one speaks English, but they're super friendly and the food is amazing.

If you like Ramen, even a little, you need to go to Santouka Ramen. Make sure you get the one with the pork in it. That pork literally melts in your mouth. It's kind of expensive ($10/bowl) but worth it. This place is cash only but there's an ATM literally feet away from where you order. It's in the Mitsuwa Food Court which is at 4240 Kearny Mesa Rd, San Diego, CA 92111

If you want to be blown away by the best Sandwiches you've ever eaten, go to Chez Nous. Get the Spicy Chicken Sandwich or listen to the guy at the counter, he will never steer you wrong. This place is cash only but there's an ATM down the street. 9821 Carroll Canyon Rd, San Diego, CA 92131

The first two are about 20 minutes from where Comic Con will be, and the last one is about 25 minutes, but it's totally worth it.

Ok, can someone explain where i buy the tickets and how much they are to me for the London event. Because I'm somewhat of a noob (yea only somewhat :P) and also if im the only underage going then I ain't gonna spoil your fun. I will just go home, chances are because of my being underage I will have to go home anyway so whatever. I live about 2 hours out of London on the coast :D so im good for getting up there, provided it's cheap, anyone in East Sussex wanting to tag along up there? Don't ask us to come to your town. We go to where the conventions are. If you really want us there, find a con nearby and persuade them to give us a free booth. That's your best shot if you can't make it to one of the big cons.

And yes, I really want to come to Australia and Canada. We're already looking into it.

Looking at the info on the London convention, it looks like it'd be worth going even without you guys there. Stuff like this makes me kind of glad I'm living in this over-priced scumpit of a city, you just don't get decent events back in Aussieland, and even when you do, it's usually 3000km away.

I got tickets for both days of london one almost as soon as seeing the announcement, though did read line-up first. currently selling stuff and that in order to have money for the rip-off stuff like autographs and that as well as travel money, tho only like 3 hours away really and i have a railcard but still. Thing is i'm going on my own and this is my first con... any meet-ups? I have standard entry ticket, the 11am entry.

What's the logic behind paying for autographs? It really just doesn't make sense to me. I have zero respect for "celebrities" who swindle people out of money for doing absolutely nothing. I heard OJ Simpson was charging for autographs at some convention thing. Easily the worst thing he's ever done in his entire life.
