I read the book + saw the movie.

God damn it's a sad book. I really loved it though.

I saw the movie. Parts of it and quotes were in Metallica's "One" video. I also hear that they're doing a remake of the movie.

Put more perspective into the "war is bad" scenario, but still creative way of telling a story.

Although the nurse "pleasuring" bit kinda put me off, especially for a book.
