Have you ever walked down the street and noticed a complete stranger sitting on the ground crying with his head buried in his hands? Have you ever pondered, for a moment, the sad, sad story behind those anguished eyes? Maybe he’s recently lost a loved one. Or maybe he just doesn’t like you staring at him. But maybe, just maybe, he’s really uncomfortable sitting on the ground and would rather be sitting on a comfy chair.

Since nobody can bring back the dead, and you’re a creepy bastard, there’s really only one of these three problems we can solve: the chair.

Why are chairs so important?

Because people sit in chairs.

That said, as an animator my ass is on a chair a lot. As an ass of discerning taste, it's always looking for newer and more comfortable chairs, and when I got my hands on a Sumo Lounge Omni bean bag chair (http://sumolounge.com/omni.shtml), my ass gave an emphatic "YES!"

http://www.flashasylum.com/db/files/Writing/rob/sumolounge.pngI was kind of disappointed when it arrived. It didn't look anything like the picture on the website. Cardboard was a weird choice of material for a chair.

But here's the cool part. When I was testing its durability with my teeth, I found out there's a smaller chair inside! It's like one of those Russian dolls.

The chair on the inside was actually pretty comfortable. You can move it into a bunch of different positions, and it sort of conforms to the shape of your body.

The downside is that it's big and terrifying. Sometimes it's hard to sleep because there's a huge, looming rectangular blue monster in my room. I'd keep it in my living room but it's so obtrusive that I'd probably die if there were ever a fire in my apartment. Also I wouldn't have any friends.

Long story short, it's a damn good chair. I dunno if I'd pay the ~$120 it goes for, but I definitely wouldn't turn down an Omni if I ever had a website that got a deal to review the chair in exchange for a free one. Hypothetically speaking.

I've heard those things are capable of eating small children whole.

Those things look like they would be rediculously comfortable. I don't think i would pay for one though. It would be nice as a tv or computer chair.

I wasn't crying for any of those reasons, Rob. You know that.

Those chairs look like they can swallow someone whole, but they look pretty comfy too lol
