And I want this one (http://www.shopping.hp.com/webapp/shopping/product_detail.do?product_code=FE912UA%23ABA&catLevel=0&landing=notebooks&category=rts_notebooks). I was just wanting to ask some people with more computer knowledge than me if it would be good for me. I am starting college in the fall, and I download alot of music. I also play alot of computer games, but that's not a priority for this machine. I was just wondering if it would seem good for my needs, or if I should consider another one. Also, would this support a game or two?

Laptops are usually not your best bet for gaming, but this one has a little power to it, so you should be able to play some newer games on it, maybe not on the highest detail setting. As for music, you can use any old computer for listening to music, it doesn't really matter.

I would say this laptop is probably right for what you need, 3 gigs of RAM and a Radeon HD 3200 is pretty good.

Thank you! I was thinking about just some of my older games, i.e. Baldur's Gate II and the Icewind Dale series for passing the time, nothing too fancy. Thanks again!

Yeah, looks like a pretty solid laptop. For the older games you mentioned it should handle fine, but I wouldn't try runnin' anything too new (COD4, Assassin's Creed, etc). One thing I noticed, and it's not a huge deal, but the HDD runs at 5400rpm. Like I said, not a huge deal, but it's my personal preference to only use hard drives that run at 7200rpm+. It'll be fine for what you need, though.
