I'm dying here.

I've forwarded ports for CS/GMod before.. 27000-27040 TDP, same for UDP + 1200. I did this on my router, no luck. Ports still coming up blocked at http://canyouseeme.org/, nobody can join my CS games. So, I put my static IP (so nobody tell me to do that, I've done it already. Also gave myself a DHCP reserveration, so it's nothing to do with my IP.) into the DMZ and still no luck.

Vista firewall is completely disabled, I disabled AVG (even though it doesn't have a firewall) and the ports are STILL coming up as closed. When I re-activate the Vista firewall and added exceptions for the programs, still no luck except http://canyouseeme.org/ shows the ports as timing out, not closed. I really can't figure this out.

Suggestions?

I don't know if it's the same for Vista, but this (http://forum.portforward.com/YaBB.cgi?board=Knowledge;action=display;num=113452 5903) fixed the problem I was having, which sounds similar. What kind of router are you using?

It's a D-LINK DIR-615 router. I'm not really sure how that link would help me, did you just follow the directions there? I'm not looking to share my internet connection...

I don't know too much about the problems, but I know D-Link routers are usually full of problems when it comes to online games. I have one. :( The only thing I can think of is to plug yourself into the modem and see if it works like that. If so, it might be time to upgrade the router.

Also, were you able to connect to the Steam Network after putting your PC in the DMZ? After I dropped mine in there, I couldn't get it to connect. :/

Yeah, I could connect fine after putting it in the DMZ.
