It's pretty spectacular.

Overall I loved the movie, but I REALLY wish they hadn't have gone with the freddy kreuger crap toward the end. It would have been so pure and nice.
Even with that though, it was an experience.

(this isn't much of a review... I just want to see what other people thought).
Anyone seen it?
I haven't heard much about it. I saw one preview a couple months ago, and suddenly it was out.

Actually, I was inexplicably thinking about how I wanted to see this movie last night. I'll see if my local blockbuster has it, and I'll probably do a review of it. (It is out on dvd right?)

I've seen the movie.

As a person who has a massive interest in the grandiose and processes of the physical universe, I was drawn to the movie by the concept of the sun dying out and the astronautics involved with perfecting the re-energising of the sun. The addition of an unknown culprit there to thwart the team's plans was absolutely ridiculous though, and I too feel the same way about the irritating ending, Switch.

The nice thing about Sunshine is that it's a refreshing science fiction film, enjoyable to watch and has a plot that thickens rapidly... though the exploration of a crime and an enemy slows down the story. It would have been interesting to see the cause of strictly the failure of the previous team, rather than exploring it by adding a new character. Anyway, the acting was more than sufficient, the sci-fi vocabulary and theme is perfect for science geeks, and it's entertaining enough for the average movie-goer.

A unique concept that revives the sci-fi scene in modern cinema that didn't fulfill its potential because of a 'weed' in the story, basically.

Just watched it.
3 and a half :heya:s out of five.
I really liked it, although the crazy guy from the other ship killing everyone was a bit unnessacary.
Otherwise, it was beautifully made, awesome cinematography and music especially.

I thought it was pretty shit really. Very typical and pretty much worked the way a horrer movie did, but with a gay sci fi storyline.

Had potential, execution was off.

1.5/5

I loved this movie, the only downside was the crazy guy, I felt he was totally unnecessary and that the film could have been down exquisitely without that subplot. I think the writers needed a reason for some of the things that happened to happen and thus was born the crazy guy.
